    摘要: A humanoid detector for detecting a humanoid in a surveillance area that substantially reduces false intruder indications by having two types of sensors that provide two types of information of the surveillance area, is disclosed. A first sensor detects light images and determines a size of a moving object within the surveillance area and compares the size of detected moving objects to a threshold size to reduce intruder detection caused by small animals. A second sensor detects infrared radiation from the surveillance area provides a detected infrared radiation signal. A decision circuit receives the sensor signals and provides a decision signal that indicates a human intruder in the surveillance area when, simultaneously, the size of the moving body is greater than that of a small animal and the detected infrared radiation indicates that the moving body is a heat producing body. In order to compensate for differences in the sensors and to account for different physical properties in the surveillance area, the decision circuit holds high an intruder signal for a predetermined time from each sensor. Thus, if a signal occurs that indicates a moving body is larger than a small animal, that signal is held for a predetermined time interval and if a signal indicates a sufficient increase in the infrared radiation occurs while the moving body signal is being held, then the decision circuit determines that a human intruder has entered the surveillance area. The decision signal may be used to trigger an audible or visible indication.

    摘要: In order to detect the movement of a heat source over a widened range by using a reduced number of pyroelectric type infrared sensors, a sensor section includes two infrared detecting means X and Y. The area to be observed by the infrared detecting means X is divided into two zones A and B while the area to be observed by the infrared detecting means Y is divided into two single zones a and b. The single zones A and a are overlapped on each other to form an overlap zone (A, a). The movement of the heat source between the single zone B and the single zone b, between the overlap zone (A, a) and the single zone B and between the overlap zone (A, a) and the single zone b is judged to detect the movement of the heat source over the entire area to be observed by the sensor section. In such a manner, two infrared detecting means can cover three zones to be observed.

    摘要: The infrared detector comprises two light receiving elements connected in series in such directions as to oppose the orientations of polarization thereof to each other, a compensating element connected to the connection point between the two light receiving elements in such a direction as to oppose the orientation thereof to those of the two light receiving elements, and has sensitivities to outputs produced by vibration and temperature variation substantially equivalent to the sums of the sensitivities of the two light receiving elements to outputs produced by vibration and temperature variation, and two FETs having gates connected to the two light receiving elements respectively and to the compensating elements through resistors or diodes, these component members being accommodated in a cylindrical case shielding these members optically and electromagnetically. Arranged on the cylindrical case are two windows for allowing light to be incident on the two light receiving elements and a light interrupting wall for preventing light emitted from a single object from being incident simultaneously on the two light receiving elements.

An operational amplifier with a negative input is connected to the drain electrode of a field effect transistor. The output signal of the operational amplifier is fed back to its negative input. The stabilization of the operating voltage by the operational amplifier is utilized and the drain electrode of the field effect transistor may be supplied with a stable voltage, so that filtering of the operating voltage by a filter factor of 100 to 120 dB, that would otherwise be required, may be eliminated. It is possible further to apply a constant current and/or regulate the current supplied by utilizing the output signal of the operational amplifier to the source electrode of the field effect transistor.

    摘要: A circuit layout operating in the current mode for an infrared room surveillance detector includes a high impedance operational amplifier connected directly to a pyroelement used as an infrared sensor. This results in a high sensitivity detector circuit with a low noise component in the detector output signal and maintaining a high impedance detector circuit. The detector circuit has a constant amplification over a relatively broad frequency range. The reaction resistor of the operational amplifier is chosen to have a high impedance, preferably in a range higher than 10.sup.11 Ohm. It is advantageous to take the reference voltage required for the evaluation of the detector output signal from the operational amplifier, so that aside from the simplified circuit layout, no further structural parts capable of increasing the interference sensitivity of the detector circuit are required. To further increase the electromagnetic compatibility, the threshold value comparator stage may also be located in the detector housing.
