The dispensing cap may include a dispensing orifice. A first rim having an inner edge may define a wide end of the dispensing orifice. A second rim having an outer edge may define a narrow end of the dispensing orifice. One or more sidewalls may extend between the inner edge of the first rim and the outer edge of the second rim and define the dispensing orifice between the wide end and the narrow end. The dispensing cap may further include a dispensing slot that defines an opening through the second rim.

摘要： A feed assist unit includes a base portion having a plurality of ribs on a lower surface thereof. A dome portion is connected to the base portion, and a rotating conduit portion has a curved shape and is coupled to the dome portion. Each of the ribs has a first end adjacent to the dome portion and a second end adjacent an associated side of the base portion. The feed assist unit has first and second central axes oriented perpendicular to each other. First and third of the ribs are oriented parallel to the second central axis and the second and fourth of the ribs can be oriented parallel to the first central axis. The first and third ribs are offset from the second central axis by an offset length and the second and fourth ribs are offset from the first central axis the offset length.

摘要： An adapter for inserting into a carton containing a non-reel coil of filamentary material or wire has a shaft-receiving sleeve supported by a box structure. The adapter's structure has top, front, bottom and back walls reinforced by side gussets. The underside of the top wall, the interior of the back wall, and the top of the bottom wall of the adapter define a channel. The channel is oriented such that it may receive a shaft or rod of a wire pulling rack. The adapter may be assembled from a blank of foldable material. The adapter blank may be manufactured as a detachable element of a carton blank which is also used to construct a carton to hold a non-reel coil of filamentary material.

摘要： The invention relates to a package for a reel of wire. The package has a cover, a connecting plate foldably connected with the cover and a bottom foldably connected with the connecting plate. The cover, the connecting plate and the bottom are able to be assembled into a package such that a reel of wire is able to be received therein and a free end of the reel of wire is able to extend through an outlet on a top face of the cover for operation and the free end is able to be retained by inserting into a retaining hole on the top face of the cover. Furthermore, a window defined on the top face of the cover enables an operator to see the volume of the reel of wire left in the package.

摘要： A sub-system for controlling the flow of cable pulled from a cable pack by an automatic cable processing machine. The sub-system may include a barrel cap for containing and controlling the outward momentum of the cable over a cable pack such as a barrel and guiding the cable through a passage in the top of the cap. The passage is positioned in line with a center line of the barrel. A variable rate braking system may be positioned over the barrel and adjacent an outer wall of the barrel to control the circular movement of the cable as the cable is unwound from the barrel. A spacer may be positioned to prevent the cable from being pulled towards the center of the barrel or toward the barrel core and so that the cable engages the variable rate braking system. The system prevents cable from overlapping, entangling, knotting and snapping during the automatic processing of the cable for use in wire harnesses.
