    摘要: A high aspect ratio agricultural pneumatic tire has a carcass including a pair of bead portions each having a bead core and two pair of first and second carcass plies of synthetic cords oriented radially and wrapped from the inside of each bead core around to an axially outer turnup end. The first pair of plies is radially inward and adjacent the second pair of plies between the bead cores and having the turnup ends T1, T1′ wrapped about the bead cores and the turnup ends T2, T2′ of the second pair of plies. The turnup end of the first pair of plies extends outwardly and radially along the bead filler wherein T1, T1′ are located between 60% and 80% of the radial location Y of maximum section width (SW) of the tire and T2, T2′ are located between 30% and 50% of Y.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a high aspect ratio agricultural pneumatic tire having a tread, a belt reinforcing structure and a carcass. The tread includes a circumferential inner tread and a plurality of lugs each projecting radially outward from the inner tread. The belt reinforcing structure includes four or more belt layers reinforced by synthetic cords and underlying the tread. The carcass has a pair of bead portions each having a core and a bead filler above each bead core and two pair of first and second carcass plies. Each ply is reinforced by synthetic cords oriented radially and wrapped from the inside of each bead core around to an axially outer turnup end. The first pair of plies is radially inward and adjacent the second pair of plies between the bead cores and having the turnup ends wrapped about the bead cores and the turnup end of the second pair of plies. The turnup end of the first pair of plies extends outwardly and radially along said bead filler to a terminal end T1, T1′ and said turnup ends of said second pair of plies extends to turnup ends T2, T2′ wherein T1, T1′ are located between 60% and 80% of a location Y defined as the radial location of maximum section width (SW) of the tire and the second pair of plies have the terminal ends T2, T2′ extend above the bead cores to a location 30% to 50% of Y. The aspect ratio is preferably greater than 85%, more preferably about 90% or greater. The ply cords are nylon and the belt cords are aramid to form a substantially synthetic textile carcass.

The wheel has an inboard side and an outboard side. The outboard side includes a wide outer flange which extends around the outer circumference of the wheel. The outer flange and/or the outboard face of the wheel is preferably detachable from the remainder of the wheel. The inboard side may include a wide inboard flange which is preferably detachable. The flanges preferably cover a substantial portion of the wall of the outer tire within which the wheel is mounted. A design, preferably comprised of, for example, a plurality of protrusions, indentations, and slits, extends across at least a portion of the outboard face of the wheel, including the outboard face of the extended outer flange.

    摘要: The present invention is directed at a tire design, which allows for proper operational characteristics in all operating conditions, and is not dependent on pneumatic pressurization. The tire is mounted in a wheel rim, and comprises an integral homogeneous toroidal body having a pair of spaced-apart radially extending sidewalls and a cross member. Each sidewall has a first and a second end and an internal face and an external face, with the second end of each of the sidewalls integrally merging into the cross member. A set of rim-engaging surfaces at the first end of each of the sidewalls allows effective mounting to conventional tire rims. An annular chamber is defined by the internal faces of the sidewalls and an internal top wall on the cross member opposite the at least one road engaging surface. The set of rim-engaging surfaces includes a lobe-like portion at the first end of each of the sidewalls, the respective lobe-like projections may be separable when the tire is not mounted on the rim, but being compressed into engagement when the tire is mounted in the rim, thereby closing the annular chamber, or integral with one another to form the enclosed chamber.
