    摘要: Under a low load condition, a produced torque is small and a synthetic current command I* with respect to an armature of a servomotor is small so that a magnitude in a negative direction of a reactive current command Id* determined by Id*=−|I*|·sin θ is small. As a result, under the low load condition, the synthetic current flowing through the armature can be small, and generation of wasteful heat can be suppressed. Further, under a high load condition, because a q-axis current Iq that produces the torque is large, voltage saturation is liable to occur. However, at the same time, the overall current command I* is large under the high load condition, and Id* is large in the negative direction. Therefore, a large reactive current Id can be flowed in the negative direction, and voltage saturation under the high load condition can be effectively prevented.

    摘要: An energy-efficient and accurate torque control system and method for multiphase nonsinusoidal PMSM with or without open-circuited phase(s) under time-varying torque and speed conditions is based on orthogonally decomposing a phase voltage vector into two components, which become primary and secondary control inputs for torque control and energy minimizer control. The primary control system includes nonlinear feedback from measured phase currents, motor angle, motor speed, and instantaneous value of reference torque and a signature vector indicating which phase(s) is/are open-circuited to establish a first-order linear relationship between reference and generated torques. The secondary control system includes an estimator to estimate a system costate from measured phase currents, motor angle, motor speed, and instantaneous value of reference torque and the signature vector and a linear programming module with equality/inequality constraints to calculate the secondary voltage input to optimally align the overall phase voltage for maximum efficiency without saturating the inverter voltage.

    摘要: A rotating electric machine drive system includes a rotating electric machine and a drive apparatus. The rotating electric machine includes a Y-connected three-phase stator coil. The drive apparatus supplies electric current to the stator coil and thereby drives the rotating electric machine. In a predetermined low-torque region, the drive apparatus supplies the stator coil with the electric current which has a waveform obtained by superimposing a specific harmonic waveform on a first-order harmonic waveform. The specific harmonic waveform is one of third-order and (3+6n)th-order harmonic waveforms, or a harmonic waveform which is obtained by synthesizing at least two of the third-order and (3+6n)th-order harmonic waveforms, where n is a natural number not less than 1. The specific harmonic waveform takes a positive integral value for a positive half cycle of the first-order harmonic waveform and a negative integral value for a negative half cycle of the first-order harmonic waveform.

The motor drive controller includes an adjustment control module configured to receive a measurement of an instantaneous motor current value for the electric motor, determine a flux component value based on the instantaneous motor current value, and determine, based at least in part on the flux component value and a flux component demand value, an adjusted flux component demand value that causes the motor drive controller to adjust an operation such that an average flux component value based on the flux component value is substantially similar to the flux component demand value.

    摘要: A control system for a motor includes a current regulation controller for generating a terminal voltage command. The terminal voltage command is used for converting a supply voltage to a three phase voltage to power a motor. The control system also includes a terminal voltage command feedback module for controlling the terminal voltage command. The terminal voltage command feedback module compares the terminal voltage command to a determined voltage limit of the supply voltage and generates a d-axis current adjustment command in accordance with the comparison. The d-axis current adjustment command is used for reducing the terminal voltage command below the determined voltage limit. The control system also includes a summer coupled with the terminal voltage command feedback module. The summer adds the d-axis current adjustment command to a d-axis current command received from a lookup table.
