摘要： A firecracker and firecracker arrangement. The firecracker includes an outer sheath having two face sides and that is closed at both face sides with a layer of barrier material. Pyrotechnic effect elements and a bursting charge are arranged inside the outer sheath. A first ignition line that penetrates the barrier material is guided up to the bursting charge. The bursting charge is accommodated inside a completely closed, cylindrical jacket that is arranged coaxial to the outer sheath such that a longitudinal center axes of the outer sheath and of the cylindrical jacket coincide. The first ignition line is guided through an opening in the cylindrical jacket to the bursting charge. The pyrotechnic effect elements are arranged to form a predefined geometric shape in at least one plane extending transverse to the longitudinal center axis of the outer sheath.

摘要： A launching device for launching multiple aerial fireworks in succession from the launching device has a tubular member having a wall defining an internal perimeter sized and shaped to receive conventional aerial fireworks shells. A unitary base is mountable to the tubular member to thereby support the tubular member in an upright use position on a support surface. The base includes a lower portion of appropriate size and shape to support the tubular member in a stable upright position; and a protrusion extends from the lower portion. The protrusion has an outer perimeter corresponding in size and shape to the inner perimeter of the tubular member to thereby permit snug insertion of the protrusion into the tubular member to secure it to the base.

摘要： A flare release system in which a plurality of flares are sequentially lahed from a submerged float. Launching apparatus for each flare comprises a compressed gas cylinder which is ruptured by a firing pin propelled by an electrically initiated squib. Compressed gas escaping from the cylinder powers an ejection piston to force a flare from the submerged float. An electric circuit distributes firing pulses to each flare launching mechanism according to a predetermined sequence.

摘要： A rollable cart with a telescoping handle to facilitate pushing by the user, and including a hopper for carrying a supply of fusees to be ignited, transport means operated in timed relation with rotation of the cart wheels for moving one fusee from the hopper so that its igniter end is forced into abutting contact with a heated member for igniting the fusee, and means for then dropping the ignited fusee onto the ground, as the cart is pushed therealong by the user. Disabling means are included to prevent the transporting, ignition and dispensing of fusees during rearward movement of the cart, as when being towed back to the starting point of fusee distribution. The handle and hopper form a unitary structure which is quickly and easily disassemblable from the cart proper, to facilitate packing in a small area such as in the trunk of a peace officer''s automobile.

摘要： A reactionless flare-launching apparatus having two spacedapart, frangibly secured together pistons located within an openended elongated tube, is mounted transversely to an aircraft longitudinal axis. Two flares, positioned within the tube outwardly of the pistons, are urged out of the tube away from the aircraft after a predetermined gas pressure, applied in the tube between the pistons, breaks the frangible securing element and permits the pistons and flares to be ejected laterally from the aircraft.
