The second layer overlies the first major surface of the first layer and includes an adhesive layer. The third layer overlies the second layer and includes a polymeric material. The article has a burst performance greater than 200 N as measured by ASTM D751 and a chemical permeation breakthrough detection time greater than about one hour as measured by ASTM F739. The disclosure is further directed to a method of forming the aforementioned multi-layer article.

The present invention relates to laminates of a plasticizer-containing plastic, obtained by bonding by means of a moisture-reactive hot-melt adhesive which comprises at least one aldimine and at least one polyurethane polymer which contains isocyanate groups and is solid at room temperature. The bonded assembly is notable for improved adhesive, particularly following heat/moisture storage or alternating storage. Preferred embodiments of such laminates are bonded films or film-laminated supports, the film preferably being a pPVC film.

The invention further relates to an adhesive which comprises the isocyanate group-terminated urethane prepolymer as a main component.
