Abstract:
The present application is spacer knit construction including a first surface, a second surface, and spacer pole filaments connecting the first and second surfaces. The spacer knit construction is comprised at least partially of metallic wires.
Abstract:
A scraper sponge for cleaning and scraping away unwanted substances from an object or surface comprising a sponge body defining a first surface, a first layer, second layer, third layer, second surface opposite the first surface, a continuous side surface around the perimeter; and a scraper and scraper holder secured in an aperture defining the scraper holder approximately between the first surface and second surface of the sponge body. The scraper, after being inserted into the scraper holder has a tip portion extending outwardly from the scraper holder within the aperture within the sponge body and defining at least 5 edges and a depressible surface concave female groove to which forces are applied to manipulate the rigid scraper. The sponge body is usable with or without the scraper and has two surfaces available for cleaning and scouring; the first surface and second surface. The second layer, third layer, third surface, and continuous side surface are made of the same sponge-like cellulose material. As an alternative, the second layer, third layer, third surface, and a portion of the continuous side surface are not made of the same material and the sponge body has at least three surfaces adapted for cleaning and scouring; the first surface, second surface, and a portion of the continuous side surface. The sponge body is also usable with or without the scraper.
Abstract:
A cleaning tool for use in abrading a surface for cleaning the surface includes a resiliently deformable backing member insert, and a chain mail abrader enclosure comprising a chain mail body having a plurality of interlinked rings. The chain mail abrader enclosure is configured to allow for insertion and removal of the resiliently deformable backing member insert. The resiliently deformable backing member is disposable within the chain mail abrader enclosure such that the backing member is positioned against the chain mail body to allow the chain mail body to conform to contours of the surface during abrading.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a cleaning tool. The cleaning tool includes a chainmail outer shell and a sponge inner core. The outer shell is formed of chainmail material and is formed to lift and stubborn grime. The inner sponge core is formed to absorb liquid, such as water, and hold cleaning detergent.
Abstract:
A scrubbing article (10) including a substrate (12) and an e-beam treated texture layer (14) on a surface of the substrate (12). The substrate (12) comprises a material suitable for use as a scrubbing article. The e-beam treated texture layer (14) is a resin-based material forming a textured abrasive layer (14) on the surface of the substrate (12).
Abstract:
A dish cleaning pad has a pair of sidewalls defining a pocket therebetween. The sidewalls are formed with a pair of mutually aligned windows. A planar insert is disposed in the pocket, the insert having an aperture aligned with the windows in the pad sidewalls. The aperture in the insert is formed with a multiplicity of parallel tines each connected at opposite ends to edges of the planar insert on opposite sides of the aperture.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a novel scraper assembly having a plurality of interchangeable scraper heads and handles and corresponding method for use. The scraper assembly further comprises a plurality of abrasive mechanisms, namely spring bristles, coiled springs, chainmail abraders and wire cloth abraders capable of effectively cleaning a surface without scoring or otherwise damaging the surface. The invention may be particularly useful for cleaning grills and ovens. Additionally, the invention may also be useful for shaping, adding texture to, stripping materials from or otherwise preparing a surface, including wood, metal or ceramic surfaces.
Abstract:
A heat rated scouring glove having a hand section, an arm section, and a layer of heat rated material. A sleeve having an abrasive surface is configured to receive the hand section of the glove.
