Abstract: An object recognition system includes an image capturing unit, a motion sensing module, a receiver and a processor. The image capturing unit captures an image sequence. The motion sensing module is disposed on a target object and includes a transmitter and a motion sensor. The motion sensor selectively drives the transmitter to transmit a plurality of wireless signals according to a plurality of motion states of the target object. The receiver receives the wireless signals. The processor analyzes the image sequence to obtain at least one first motion state curve corresponding to at least one object, generates a second motion state curve corresponding to the target object according to the wireless signals, and determines whether to recognize the object corresponding to the first motion state curve as the target object according to a correlation between the first motion state curve and the second motion state curve.

Abstract: A visitor grouping method determines whether different visitors belong to an identical group according to a distance between the visitors and an initial position of the visitors in an image sequence, so as to analyze a proportion of number of individual visitors to number of grouped visitors. Furthermore, the visitor grouping method may further determine whether two groups belong to an identical group according to a distance between the groups and an initial position of the groups in the image sequence. Moreover, the visitor grouping method may determine whether a child group exists and then merge the child group with other groups. Accordingly, a specific site may design the display content and manner with respect to the properties of the visitors, so as to enhance service quality and operating efficiency.

Abstract: A wireless transmitting/receiving system includes a transmitter, a first directional receiver, a camera, a storage device and a processor. The transmitter is disposed on a target object and transmits a wireless signal. The first directional receiver is disposed with respect to an entry/exit boundary. The first directional receiver receives the wireless signal and generates a first received signal strength indication. The camera captures an image of the entry/exit boundary. The storage device stores a mapping table of target object location and received signal strength. The processor is electrically connected to the storage device and determines a location of the target object and a moving direction of the target object with respect to the entry/exit boundary according to the image and the mapping table of target object location and received signal strength.

Abstract: A setting method of a counting flow path is applied to an image monitoring system and a related computer-readable media. The counting flow path is utilized to determine whether an object passes through a monitoring area. The setting method includes drawing two boundaries on a video frame correlative to the monitoring area to define the counting flow path, detecting relative position between a first angle control point and a second angle control point of the counting flow path, adjusting an angle formed by virtual lines stretching from the boundaries according to the relative position between the said angle control points, and utilizing an initial point and a final point detected by the counting flow path while the objects moves into or out of the counting flow path to determine whether the object passes through the counting flow path.

Abstract: An object matching method is applied to a camera system with an object matching function. The object matching method includes detecting a moving object within overlapped monitoring areas of two image capturing units to generate a first coordinate point and a second coordinate point respectively upon a first coordinate system and a second coordinate system, calculating at least one transforming parameter of the first coordinate system relative to the second coordinate system, acquiring a reliability level according to a comparison result between the transforming parameter and a threshold, determining a final transform parameter by the reliability level, utilizing the final transform parameter to transform the first coordinate point into a third coordinate point upon the second coordinate system, and determining whether the first coordinate point and the second coordinate point indicate the same object by difference between the third coordinate point and the second coordinate point.
