    摘要: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for receiving user data in a wireless communication system that employs coordinated multi-point transmission of the user data from a first cell serving a wireless terminal and a second cell site neighboring the first cell site. In an exemplary system, the first cell site maps control signals and user data to a time-frequency resources according to a first mapping pattern, while the second cell site maps control data and traffic data to the time-frequency resources according to a second mapping pattern. An exemplary method comprises extracting user data, according to the first mapping pattern, from time-frequency resources of a first transmission for the wireless terminal transmitted from the first cell site; detecting a control element transmitted by one of the first and second cell sites, the control element indicating that user data associated with the control element is mapped to the time-frequency resources according to the second mapping pattern; and, responsive to said detecting, extracting user data according to the second mapping pattern from time-frequency resources of a second transmission for the wireless terminal transmitted from the second cell site.

In a known one of the time slots, a synchronization signal, S1, is transmitted that comprises a pair of sequences, {tilde over (S)}i,{tilde over (S)}j ({tilde over (S)}i≠{tilde over (S)}j) arranged in a first ordering. In another known one of the time slots, a synchronization signal, S2, is transmitted that comprises the pair of sequences, {tilde over (S)}i,{tilde over (S)}j arranged in a second ordering. The selected pair of sequences is uniquely identified with the particular cell group, and the first ordering of the sequences is used only for transmission in the known one of the time slots, and the second ordering of the sequences is used only for transmission in said another known one of the time slots.

    摘要: The present invention relates to cellular radio communication and in particular to providing information on neighbour cells to enable terminals to perform neighbour cell measurements. In the prior art the terminal attempts to make neighbour cell measurements in a reference signal structure that is the same in the neighbour cell as in the cell the terminal camps in. The present invention is based on the insight that the reference signal structure may differ between neighbouring cell for example in the situation of an MBSFN area that is restricted to a region of all cells of a radio network, or in the situation of TDD mode being applied there may be different regions with different allocation of sub-frames for transmission in the uplink and downlink directions. The present invention solves the problem by broadcast information in a cell indicative of the reference signal structure in neighbour cells.

    摘要: In MU-MIMO scenarios, a target terminal can be exposed to data streams intended for other terminals. If the target terminal is capable of interference cancellation, then a network node, such as a base station or RNC, can provide the target terminal with interference information so that the target terminal can efficiently cancel interferences due to these interfering data streams. The interference information may include one or more interfering configuration, each of which characterizes a related interfering data stream. The interference information can also include the identity of the other terminal that is the intended recipient of the interfering stream. The network node may determine whether the target terminal can benefit from the interference information. If so, the network node can provide the interference information to the target terminal.

    摘要: A method in a first base station for supporting DTX is provided. The first base station serves a first cell being in an active mode. The first base station communicates with a user equipment within the first cell. The first base station is comprised in a radio communications system further comprising the user equipment and a second base station serving a second cell being in a non observable mode. The first base station sends to the second base station, a request to switch the second cell state from a non observable mode to an observable mode. It further sends to the user equipment or to the second base station, a request to perform signalling between the user equipment and the second base station for quality measurements. The first base station then obtains information that handover is feasible, based on quality measurement of the performed signalling. The first base station sends to the second base station, a request to prepare handover of the user equipment from the first cell to the second cell, and further to the user equipment, a command to perform handover to the second cell.
