Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for joint communications among a UE and multiple transmission-reception points (TRPs) in which a subset of the multiple TRPs transmit periodic tracking reference signals (TRSs) for use in measurement and beam management at the UE and the multiple TRPs. The subset of TRPs may include TRPs having a relatively large contribution to signals received at the UE, and may transmit periodic (or semi-persistent) TRSs to be measured at the UE. One of the TRPs may provide configuration information to the UE of which TRPs are included in the subset of TRPs, or the UE may determine which TRPs are included in the subset of TRPs based on a signal quality of transmissions associated with each TRP.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining when to transmit and transmitting an aperiodic tracking reference signal (TRS). Certain aspects provide a method for wireless communication. The method generally includes determining a channel condition change of a downlink channel between a first wireless device and a second wireless device. The method further includes determining whether the channel condition change satisfies a trigger condition. The method further includes triggering transmission of an aperiodic tracking reference signal when the channel condition change satisfies the trigger condition.

Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) indicating two or more transmission configuration indication (TCI) states for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH). The UE may differentiate that the two or more TCI states apply to all demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports or all transmission layers across all resource blocks and symbols for the PDSCH from TCI states that apply to different sets of DMRS ports or different sets of resource blocks or symbols. The UE may generate a composite quasi-co-location (QCL) based on the two or more TCI states in response to the differentiating. The UE may receive the PDSCH based on the composite QCL.

A wireless communications system may support one or more communication devices (e.g., user equipment (UE)) operating according to an aperiodic (e.g., and dynamic) discontinuous reception (DRX) mode. For example, a UE may communicate with a device in the wireless communications system (e.g., a base station, another UE) according to a periodic DRX mode. In response to a transition indication, the UE may dynamically transition to the aperiodic DRX mode and may operate according to the aperiodic DRX mode for a duration. To operate according to the aperiodic DRX mode, the UE may be configured to disable a first set of communication operations for the duration, perform a second set of communication operations during the duration, or a combination thereof (e.g., across component carriers of a carrier group, across component carriers of a DRX group).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may obtain a first dataset for a predictive model and may determine a validity of the first dataset based on a legitimacy test of the first dataset. A legitimacy test may include comparing a first output of a predictive model associated with the first dataset to a second output of the predictive model associated with at least one second dataset, where a result of the legitimacy test may be based on a performance metric associated with the comparing and may indicate whether the first dataset is valid or corrupted. The network entity may perform the legitimacy test and may transmit information associated with a result of the legitimacy test to one or more other network entities. In some cases, the network entity may receive a request to perform the legitimacy test.
