    Abstract: Various aspects of the disclosure relate to communication using a data unit that includes at least one mid-amble. In some aspects, an apparatus may use mid-ambles for mobility scenarios (e.g., when the apparatus is moving outdoors). The disclosure relates in some aspects to signaling associated with the use of mid-ambles. In some aspects, an apparatus may signal whether it supports sending and/or receiving data with mid-ambles. In some aspects, an apparatus may signal whether a particular data unit includes at least one mid-amble. In some aspects, an apparatus may signal an indication of at least one mid-amble update interval. In some aspects, an apparatus may signal whether a mid-amble includes a short training field.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for indicating a data rate of a packet. The transmitting device may select the data rate of a data field of the packet to be transmitted to the receiving device, and may select a pattern to embed within a preamble of the packet based on the selected data rate. In some implementations, the transmitting device may select a first structure including a first number of instances of a sequence or its logical complement if the selected data rate is a low data rate, and may select a second structure including a second number of instances of the sequence or its logical complement if the selected data rate is a high data rate.

    Abstract: In an embodiment, an Internet of Things (IoT) controller receives information from IoT devices over an IoT communications interface. The IoT controller establishes a wireless media presentation session with a user device with the IoT controller acting as a source and the user device acting as a sink. The IoT controller generates a displayable IoT control interface for the IoT devices and sends the displayable IoT control interface to a user device within a media stream of the wireless media presentation session. The user device displays the displayable IoT control interface and sends the IoT controller user input feedback over a user input feedback channel. The IoT controller determines whether to modify one or more settings associated with the at least one IoT device based upon the user input feedback.
