Abstract: A UE may obtain one or more measurements of at least one cell of a network based on a first connection with the network. The UE may reuse at least a first measurement of the one or more measurements for a second connection with the network. The first connection with the network and the second connection with the network may be associated with different subscriptions or different RATs. To reuse at least the first measurement of the one or more measurements for the second connection with the network, the UE may skip a cell detection operation associated with the second connection with the network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support inter-frequency measurement techniques. A user equipment (UE) may receive a control message indicating respective measurement configurations for multiple measurement objects. The UE may perform a measurement of a first measurement object from the plurality of measurement objects and transmit a first measurement report for the first measurement object in accordance with a measurement order. In other examples, the UE may perform measurements of each of the multiple measurement objects, including the first measurement object, prior to transmitting the measurement report, where respective measurement reports may be transmitted in accordance with the measurement order. In any case, the measurement order may be determined using a set of parameters corresponding to a current state of the UE, one or more services at the UE, a user preference, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: The UE may store target cell information to a database based on performing a handover to the target cell and detecting the ping-pong handover based on a number of handover instances in the database of the target cell to which the UE has performed the handover being greater than or equal to a threshold number of the handover instances within a period of time. The UE may receive, from a base station a list of ping-pong cell candidates and configure the number of handover instances of the target cell and/or the period of time based on the list of ping-pong cell candidates. The UE may avoid or reduce the handover to the identified ping-pong cell based on the detected ping-pong handover by applying an offset to the measurement of the target cell.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide mechanisms for fast hyper frame number (HFN) resynchronization of Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) Protocol Data Units (PDUs). A wireless communication device (e.g., a PDCP entity at a wireless communication device) can calculate a current PDCP count of a current PDCP PDU of a plurality of PDCP PDUs received from a radio link control (RLC) sublayer based on a PDCP sequence number (SN) of the current PDCP PDU and an HFN of a first missing PDCP PDU after a successfully received PDCP PDU. The PDCP count may be calculated using the HFN of the first missing PDCP PDU in response to a gap between the PDCP count of the first missing PDCP PDU and the actual PDCP count of the current PDCP PDU being greater than a PDCP window size.

The UE may receive, by the first subscription from the second subscription, a request for the first subscription to enter a mode that supports one Tx chain. The UE, by the first subscription, may reduce the two Tx chains to the one Tx chain for the first subscription. The UE may perform, by the second subscription to the second network entity, the connection setup based at least in part on the first subscription reducing the two Tx chains to the one Tx chain. The UE may use the protocol stack for a RAT in the first subscription to receive idle-mode signaling, such as one or more paging messages, from the second subscription using the same RAT.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may monitor paging search spaces that correspond to beams other than a serving beam if a signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) of the serving beam does not satisfy a SINR threshold. The UE may stop the monitoring if a paging message in the paging search spaces has been successfully decoded. In some aspects, a UE may determine whether a paging search space that corresponds to a serving beam is a last paging search space in a first paging occasion, after the UE decoded a paging downlink control information and failed to decode a paging physical downlink shared channel on the serving beam. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for a high priority route selection descriptor (RSD) selection timer. A protocol data unit (PDU) session may be established for an application associated with a user equipment (UE). If the PDU session is associated with a lower RSD priority than the highest RSD priority for the application, the UE may initiate an RSD selection timer. After expiration of the RSD selection timer, the UE may try to establish another PDU session for the application with the highest RSD priority for the application. If another PDU session with the highest RSD priority is accepted, the UE may release the initial PDU session with the lower RSD priority and establish a new PDU session with the highest RSD priority. Such implementations may increase data rates, quality of service, and reliability for the application, decrease latency of the application, or decrease power consumption of the UE.
