Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for timing synchronization among one or more time sensitive network (TSN) endpoints via a wireless communications network. A data flow may be established via the wireless communications network, in which one or more system messages associated with the data flow may provide timing information for the data flow. A first node within the wireless communications network may receive a request for establishing such a data flow with a user equipment (UE). The first node may receive timing information for the data flow via one or more system messages associated with the data flow, and establish the data flow based at least in part on the timing information.

Abstract: Disclosed are system and method for managing self-organizing wireless networks by a cloud server. In an aspect, the cloud server is configured to collect from a plurality of radio nodes of the wireless networks statistical and predictive information about accessibility and performance of said nodes; collect from a plurality of mobile devices connected to the wireless networks at least statistical and predictive information about performance, location, mobility and services of said devices; analyze the collected information to assess the performance, loading and distribution of network resource among the radio nodes; determine, based on the analysis, optimization guidelines for performance, loading and distribution of network resources among the radio nodes; and send the optimization guidelines to the radio nodes in order to optimize performance, loading and distribution of network resources at the radio nodes and to make resource optimization decisions specific to the individual mobile devices.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for dynamic monitoring and scheduling in retransmission are described for wireless communications. For example, a receiving device may receive a data transmission in a first receiver bandwidth, determine that a data packet of the data transmission was unsuccessfully decoded, switch to a second receiver bandwidth that is wider than the first receiver bandwidth or narrower than the first receiver bandwidth (e.g., based on determining that the data packet was unsuccessfully decoded), and receive a retransmission of the data packet in the second receiver bandwidth. In another example, a transmitting device may schedule a data transmission according to a first receiver bandwidth, receive an indication that a data packet of the data transmission was unsuccessfully decoded, and schedule a retransmission of the data packet according to a second receiver bandwidth that is wider than the first receiver bandwidth or narrower than the first receiver bandwidth.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for assessing the quality of end-to-end connectivity for a wireless communication device. Data generated from at least one of existing traffic and networking operations caused by existing traffic of the wireless communication device may be monitored to obtain information related to connectivity quality. One or more values of one or more metrics may be determined using the obtained information. The quality of end-to-end connectivity for the wireless communication device may be assessed using the value(s) of the metric(s). Based at least in part on a result of the assessment, an action may be performed to improve connectivity quality for the wireless communication.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for communication at a network entity comprise sending a measurement configuration message to a user equipment (UE) to configure the UE to perform one or more measurements during a specified measurement period. Additionally, the methods and apparatus comprise suspending, at the network entity, transmission of at least one configuration parameter to the UE during the specified measurement period, wherein the network entity is the serving network entity. Moreover, the methods and apparatus comprise receiving at least one measurement report message from the UE after the specified measurement period.

Abstract: A method for enhancing assignment of mobility classifications to mobile devices is described. A plurality of mobility classifications are stored in association with a plurality of mobile devices to indicate, for each mobile device, one or more handover parameters used by the mobile device. One or more handover parameters associated with the plurality of mobility classifications are updated based on mobility events. An error determination is made that one or more of the one or more mobile devices are incorrectly associated with the mobility classifications based on the one or more updated handover parameters for the plurality of mobility classifications. In response to the error determination, one or more new criteria are established that adjust how the mobility classifications are assigned.
