    Abstract: Aspects relate to configuring and managing hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-acknowledgment (ACK) feedback codebooks for use in wireless communication systems. The HARQ-ACK codebooks include priority-based HARQ-ACK codebooks of differing priorities, such as Type 1 and Type 2 codebooks, and one-shot (Type 3) HARQ-ACK codebooks. In one example, a wireless communication device may be configured to obtain a set of HARQ-ACK codebooks that include priority-based HARQ-ACK codebooks of differing priorities and a separate one-shot HARQ-ACK codebook. The wireless communication device may further be configured to process first and second physical uplink channels based on the priority of the first physical uplink channel and the priority of the second physical uplink channel, where one of the two physical uplink channels includes the one-shot HARQ-ACK codebook, and with the processing performed in combination with the use of the priority-based HARQ-ACK codebooks.

    Abstract: A plurality of scheduled entities, such as transmission reception points (TRPs), may each transmit at least one TRP-specific beam failure detection reference signal (BFD-RS) having a corresponding TRP identifier (ID) to a scheduled entity. The scheduled entity may be configured with at least one TRP-specific medium access control (MAC) parameter. The scheduled entity may receive the TRP-specific BFD-RSs and respective TRP IDs associated therewith. The scheduled entity may measure each BFD-RSs and count beam failure instances associated with each TRP ID. The scheduled entity may transmit a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) associated with the respective TRP ID in response to a predetermined quantity of respective TRP-specific BFD-RS measurements of at least one of the respective TRP-specific BFD-RSs being less than a predetermined value. A scheduling entity may receive the BFRQ, where the at least one TRP-specific MAC parameter was used to trigger the BFRQ.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform beam sweeping for a physical uplink channel within time domain windows or across time domain windows based on a time domain window index. In cases where frequency hopping is enabled, the UE may transmit uplink repetitions and demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) across two frequency hops during two consecutive time domain windows using a first transmit beam, and may then follow up with transmissions across two frequency hops during the next two consecutive time domain windows using a second transmit beam. Or, the UE may transmit uplink repetitions and DMRSs in a first frequency hop with first and second transmit beams during two respective consecutive time domain windows, and may transmit in a second frequency hop with the first and second transmit beams during the next two respective consecutive time domain windows.
