    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a source base station associated with a source master cell group (MCG), a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition in one or more slots of the source MCG during a handover of the UE from the source MCG to a target MCG. The UE may perform, to a target base station associated with the target MCG, an uplink transmission in one or more slots to the target MCG during the handover, wherein PUSCH repetitions associated with the source MCG that overlap in time with the uplink transmission to MCG are canceled and a counting of the PUSCH repetitions is based at least in part on slots of the source MCG associated with canceled PUSCH repetitions.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may perform beam sweeping for a physical uplink channel within time domain windows or across time domain windows based on a time domain window index. In cases where frequency hopping is enabled, the UE may transmit uplink repetitions and demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) across two frequency hops during two consecutive time domain windows using a first transmit beam, and may then follow up with transmissions across two frequency hops during the next two consecutive time domain windows using a second transmit beam. Or, the UE may transmit uplink repetitions and DMRSs in a first frequency hop with first and second transmit beams during two respective consecutive time domain windows, and may transmit in a second frequency hop with the first and second transmit beams during the next two respective consecutive time domain windows.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to switch between waveform configurations based on an indicated modulation coding scheme (MCS) such that waveform switching may be signaled implicitly. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a hybrid MCS table including MCS indexes associated with a first waveform configuration and MCS indexes associated with a second waveform configuration. The base station may schedule resources for an uplink transmission for the UE and may indicate an MCS index associated with the uplink transmission, using index from the MCS table. The UE may select a waveform configuration for the uplink transmission based on the MCS index. For example, the UE may compare the MCS index with a threshold MCS index of the hybrid MCS table and determine a waveform configuration associated with the MCS index based on whether the MCS index falls above or below the threshold.

    Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) configurations supporting various communication approaches (e.g., full duplex and/or half duplex operations) are described. Full duplex (FD) frequency-based BWP configurations may, for example, be configured as a subset of defined BWP resources for supporting full duplex operation by base stations and/or user equipments (UEs). Usable bandwidth of a FD frequency-based BWP configuration may be selected from half duplex frequency-based BWPs in legacy BWPs. Bandwidths of usable BWPs for a FD frequency-based BWP configuration may be selected so as to be non-overlapping in frequency. Transition between configurations and modes (e.g., between full duplex frequency-based BWP configurations, between half duplex and full duplex modes, etc.) may be managed to avoid periods in which a communication device cannot perform any uplink or downlink transmissions due to switching between defined BWP configurations, or otherwise reduces BWP switching time. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may provide information identifying a first time offset between a first time associated with a measurement performed by the user equipment and a second time associated with a measurement gap or a time value of a serving cell of the user equipment, receive information identifying a second time offset between the second time and a third time, wherein the second time offset is based at least in part on the first time offset, and/or transmit a random access message at the third time based at least in part on the second time offset. A scheduling entity may coordinate a random access procedure associated with the random access message based at least in part on the second time offset. Numerous other aspects are provided.
