Abstract:
A paper size which comprises a stable aqueous dispersion of a reactive size, from 5 to 100% by weight, based on the reactive size, of a substantially linear nitrogen-comprising polymer having at least 3 mmol/g of basic nitrogen atoms, and from 1 to 50% by weight of cationic starch having a degree of substitution of at least 0.05 is described. The paper size has a good sizing effect and a stable viscosity.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a switch assembly (1) for switching an electric consumer (2) on and off, in particular for the use in a hand machine tool, comprising a power switch (3) and a power electronic (5) for supplying the consumer (2) with electric energy. According to the invention it is provided that a help switch (6) is provided, which works together with the power electronic (5) in such a way that it supplies the electric consumer (2) with electric energy only after switching on the help switch (6). The invention furthermore relates to an electric consumer (2) as well as a machine tool.
Abstract:
A seat assembly having a headrest for supporting the head of a seat occupant. The seat assembly includes a seat back, a support post disposed on the seat back, a headrest being moveably disposed on the support post, and a latch mechanism moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position. The headrest is simultaneously moveable in multiple directions when the latch mechanism is disposed in the unlatched position.
Abstract:
A coaxial right-angle connector having a cable-side inner conductor part with two contact sections arranged at a distance from each other, parallel to a longitudinal axis of the cable-side inner conductor part, and in a plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the plug-side inner conductor part. The distance between the contact sections is larger than the pre-determined diameter of the rod of the plug-side inner conductor part. A plate-type contact element is arranged on each contact section. The plate-shaped contact elements are tipped respectively relatively to the contact sections in such a way that the free edges of the plate-shaped contact elements firm a long slit between each other. The distance between the free edges of the plate-shaped contact elements is smaller than the pre-determined diameter of the rod on the free end thereof.

Abstract:
A vehicle seat head restraint assembly is provided with a stop mounted to a rod of a vehicle seat back. A frame is mounted to the rod to slide therealong. A head restraint is mounted to the frame. A shaft cooperates with the stop and the frame and includes a series of notches and the stop includes at least one projection that engages the notches in a locked rotary position of the shaft. The projection is disengaged from the notches in a released rotary position of the shaft. The shaft has a cam and an actuator has a follower arrangement for releasing the shaft to slide the head restraint frame along the rod. A head restraint assembly is also provided wherein the series of notches and the projection cooperate such that height adjustment in an upward direction only is permitted without actuation of the actuator.
Abstract:
Aqueous alkyl ketene dimer dispersions which comprise at least 15% by weight of an alkyl ketene dimer and at least one water-soluble cationic starch, aluminum sulfate and at least one condensate of naphthalenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde or lignin sulfonic acid or in each case salts thereof, the dispersions comprising, based in each case on alkyl ketene dimer, from 2 to 50% by weight of aluminum sulfate, and in which the dispersions additionally comprise from 0.1 to 5% by weight of a saturated carboxylic acid having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, benzenesulfonic acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid and/or a mineral acid at an aluminum sulfate content of from 2 to 15% by weight, and the use of the dispersions as engine size and surface size for paper and paper products.
Abstract:
A method for reorganizing performance quantity data in a segment of a non-volatile memory. The method encompasses the tasks or operations of generating a cohesive data block at an address space of a working memory, of performance quantity data from a first segment of the non-volatile memory and/or from the working memory, and of copying the data block to a predefined address space of the first or a second segment of the non-volatile memory in a block write operation, the performance quantity data of the data block in essence being written to the predefined address space simultaneously in the block write process.
Abstract:
Process for preparing an aqueous polymer dispersion by polymerization of at least one olefinically unsaturated compound in an aqueous medium in the presence of at least one dispersant and a solid polymerization catalyst.
