Abstract: A video decoding method performed by a decoding device includes: deriving control points (CPs) for a current block; acquiring motion vectors for the CPs; deriving a sample-unit motion vector in the current block based on the acquired motion vectors; deriving a prediction sample for the current block based on the sample-unit motion vector; and generating a restoration sample based on the prediction sample, wherein coordinates of a bottom-right sample position of the current block are (0, 0), and coordinates of CPO among the CPs are (0, 0). Inter prediction is effectively performed through sample-unit motion vectors even when an image in a current block is planarly moved and variously changed, and since motion vectors for CPs are derived based on already-decoded neighboring blocks, an amount of information for the motion vectors for the CPs and for a residual signal for the current block is reduced, improving overall coding efficiency.

Abstract: An intra prediction method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: acquiring information on a luma prediction mode of a current block and information on a chroma prediction mode of the current block from a bit stream; deriving a luma intra prediction mode of the current block on the basis of the information on the luma prediction mode; determining a chroma intra prediction mode of the current block on the basis of information on the luma intra prediction mode and the information on the chroma prediction mode; and generating a chroma prediction sample of the current block on the basis of the chroma intra prediction mode. According to the present invention, it is possible to reflect the difference between the ratio of the width to the height of a luma component and the ratio of the width to the height of a chroma component, and thus to more accurately perform intra prediction in units of samples and improve intra prediction performance.

Abstract: The method for processing video signals according to the present invention determines a motion vector list including at least one of spatial motion vectors, temporal motion vectors, and variation vectors as motion vector candidates of a target block, extracts motion vector identifying information which specifies the motion vector candidates used as the predicted motion vectors of the target block, determines the motion vector candidates corresponding to the motion vector identifying information as the predicted motion vectors of the target block, and performs motion compensation on the basis of the predicted motion vectors. The present invention enables accurate motion vector prediction by forming motion vector candidates and induces motion vectors of a target block therefrom, and can enhance coding efficiency by reducing the amount of transmitted residual data.
