    Abstract: An antenna device includes a plurality of dipole antennas and a port. Each of the dipole antennas is connected to the port. The dipole antennas are arranged around the port. Each of the dipole antennas comprises two ends. The device further includes a plurality of passive elements. The ends of the dipole antennas and the passive elements are interchangeably arranged around the port such that each of the passive elements is situated between ends of two different antennas from the plurality of dipole antennas. One or more switches are configured to switch between an omnidirectional state, in which the ends of the dipole antennas are not connected to the plurality of passive elements, and a directional state, in which at least one end of one of the passive elements is connected to at least one end of one of the antennas.

    Abstract: A device is configured to calculate a set of channel estimates for a plurality of sub-carriers based on a plurality of pilot-symbols and/or data-symbols carried by said plurality of sub-carriers; calculate a set of equalizers for the plurality of sub-carriers based on the set of channel estimates; perform an equalization on a plurality of data-symbols using the set of equalizers for obtaining a plurality of equalized symbols; perform a soft-slicing or hard-slicing procedure comprising obtaining a plurality of estimated symbols based on the equalized symbols; calculate at least one diagonal-loaded interference-plus-noise covariance matrix, based on the set of estimated symbols; de-map the plurality of data symbols to soft-bits, based on the at least one diagonal-loaded interference-plus-noise covariance matrix, the set of channel estimates or an updated version thereof; and feed the soft-bits to a channel decoder.

    Abstract: The method includes: receiving, by a second transmit end, policy information sent by a first transmit end, where the second transmit end belongs to a second BSS, the first transmit end is a transmit end that is in a first basis service set and that transmits data by using a first link, and the policy information is used to indicate a condition that the second transmit end needs to satisfy to transmit data by using a second link, or used to indicate whether the second transmit end is allowed to transmit data by using a second link; and determining, by the second transmit end based on the policy information, whether to transmit data by using the second link. According to the wireless communication method, a spatial reuse transmission policy can be adjusted dynamically based on an actual situation of a current network. This improves a system throughput.

    Abstract: A method of uplink sounding signal triggering, performed by an access point (AP), comprises the steps of transmitting, by the AP, a triggering signal to one or more stations (STAs), triggering transmission of a respective sounding signal from at least one STA of the one or more STAs in response to the triggering signal; receiving, by the AP, the respective sounding signal from the at least one STA; and determining, by the AP, a precoder to be used by the at least one STA based on the respective sounding signal, and transmitting corresponding precoder information to the at least one STA for data transmission, wherein the triggering signal comprises a null data packet announcement (NDPA) signal or a null data packet request (NDPR) signal and the sounding signal comprises a triggered sounding null data packet (NDP) signal.
