Abstract: This application discloses example application instance address translation methods. One example method includes receiving, by a control plane device from a mobile edge cloud control device, an address of a target application instance of an application service accessed by a terminal. The control plane device can then send the address of the target application instance to a first user plane device. The control plane device can then instruct the first user plane device to set, as the address of the target application instance, a destination address of an uplink packet that is of the terminal and is associated with the application service

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. In the method, a first network element creates a buffer queue based on a request of a second network element. Further, the first network element collects data of a corresponding type, sends data in the buffer queue to the second network element, and releases corresponding storage space after the second network element completes a data collection task. In this way, utilization of storage space of the first network element is improved, thereby resolving a problem in a conventional technology that the first network element needs to have a capability of relatively large storage space.

Abstract: A mobility management method and apparatus are provided, to flexibly switch a forwarding path, and ensure service continuity in a movement process of a terminal device. The method includes: A control plane network element determines a changed media access control address MAC address of a first terminal device after the first terminal device moves. Then, the control plane network element determines at least one second terminal device that belongs to a same terminal device group as the first terminal device, where the first terminal device is a terminal device whose address changes after the movement, and the at least one second terminal device is a terminal device other than the first terminal device in the terminal device group. Finally, the control plane network element notifies the first terminal device and the at least one second terminal device to update to the changed MAC address of the first terminal device.

Abstract: A positioning apparatus includes a body, the body has a positioning slot used to accommodate a camera, and elastic elements are separately fastened to two side walls adjacent to the positioning slot. The positioning apparatus further includes a cover plate, and the cover plate is detachably fastened to the body. When the camera is installed in the positioning slot, two elastic elements separately press against a housing of the camera. The cover plate presses against an end face of the camera.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. The method includes: After receiving a first packet from a first device, a first user plane network element determines a user plane LAN identifier corresponding to the first packet, where the user plane LAN identifier is an identifier that is in a user plane and that is of a LAN group to which the terminal belongs, and one user plane LAN identifier corresponds to one LAN group. That is, a function of the user plane LAN identifier is to isolate user plane packets of different LAN groups. Then, the first user plane network element sends the first packet to a second device based on the user plane LAN identifier and a destination address included in the first packet, so that the first packet sent by one terminal in the LAN group is sent to another terminal in the LAN group.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose an overload control method and apparatus, and relate to the field of communications technologies, to help relieve overload of an access and mobility management network element (for example, an AMF network element). The method may include: An access network device receives indication information from an access and mobility management network element. The indication information is used to indicate that the access and mobility management network element is overloaded. When a terminal is in an RRC connected mode or an RRC inactive mode, the access network device triggers, based on the indication information and characteristic information of the terminal, setting the terminal to be in an RRC idle mode; or when a terminal is in an RRC connected mode, the access network device triggers, based on the indication information and characteristic information of the terminal, setting the terminal to be in an RRC inactive mode.

Abstract: A synchronization method and an apparatus are provided to meet a time precision requirement of an industrial factory in a scenario in which a mobile network is connected to an Ethernet network. In an embodiment, a first device determines seventh timestamp information by using timestamp information of receiving and sending packets in a mobile network, so that a second device calculates a time offset between the first device and the second device based on the seventh timestamp information and time points of receiving and sending packets in an Ethernet network, to perform time synchronization. In the method, impact of a transmission delay between the first device and the second device can be avoided, so that a time precision requirement of an industrial factory can be met in a scenario in which the mobile network is connected to the Ethernet network.

Abstract: This application provides an information transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: determining, by a control device, a first transmission channel in at least one transmission channel configured between a first network device and a second network device, where the first transmission channel is used to transmit a packet that belongs to at least one packet flow, a packet sending frequency currently supported by the first transmission channel is greater than or equal to a sum of packet sending frequencies of the at least one packet flow, and transmission performance of the first transmission channel meets transmission performance of the at least one packet flow; and sending, by the control device, first identification information to the first network device, where the first identification information is used to identify the first transmission channel. Therefore, this helps to meet a requirement for transmission performance of a packet in a mobile network.
