    摘要: Manage sulfur present as sulfur or a sulfur compound in a hydrocarbon feedstream while effecting dehydrogenation of hydrocarbon(s) (e.g. propane) contained in the hydrocarbon feedstream to its/their corresponding olefin (e.g. propylene where the hydrocarbon is propane) without subjecting the feedstream to desulfurization before it contacts a fluidizable dehydrogenation catalyst that is both a desulfurant and a dehydrogenation catalyst and comprises gallium and platinum on an alumina or alumina-silica catalyst support with optional alkali or alkaline earth metal such as potassium. Contact with such a catalyst yields a desulfurized crude olefin product that corresponds to the hydrocarbon and has a reduced amount of sulfur or sulfur compounds relative to the sulfur or sulfur compounds present in the hydrocarbon feedstream prior to contact with the catalyst.

    摘要: A fluidized catalyst stripping unit for displacing entrained gas from catalyst particles comprising: a vessel housing a two stage cyclonic separation section which comprises one or more primary cyclonic separation devices and one or more secondary cyclones; a stripping section which comprises internals; and an inlet in fluid communication with a catalytic reactor to feed a particulate-fluid suspension to the two stage cyclonic separation section; wherein each primary cyclonic separation device comprises an internal cylindrical surface to separate a major fraction of the particulates from the suspension and form a vortex of reduced particulate content; a particulate discharge outlet from each secondary cyclone to the stripping section; wherein the particulate discharge outlet of the secondary cyclone is submerged in a catalyst bed located above the stripper internals, and wherein the stripping section comprises one or more bubble breaking grids within the catalyst bed and above the stripping internals is provided.

The internal support system may include a plurality of pillar supports extending vertically from at or near a bottom surface of the plate towards a floor of the vessel. One or more of the pillar supports may include a flexible upper member connecting a rigid top support bracket to a rigid intermediate beam and a flexible lower member connecting the rigid intermediate beam to the rigid base support.     摘要: According to one or more embodiments, the flow of catalyst in a fluidized catalytic processing system may be controlled by a method including determining the amount of catalyst present in a first catalyst bed of the fluidized catalytic processing system. The fluidized catalytic processing system may include a first catalyst bed, a second catalyst bed, a third catalyst bed, and a fourth catalyst bed. The method may include comparing the amount of catalyst present in the first catalyst bed with a threshold catalyst amount. When the amount of catalyst present in the first catalyst bed is less than the threshold catalyst amount, the method may include regulating flow of catalyst from the second catalyst bed to the third catalyst bed such that an increased target amount of catalyst is maintained in the second catalyst bed.

    摘要: According to one or more embodiments, olefins may be produced by contacting a hydrocarbon feed stream with a particulate solid in a reaction vessel. The reaction vessel may be connected to a riser. The riser may extend through a riser port of an outer shell of a particulate solid separation section such that the riser may comprise an interior riser segment and an exterior riser segment. The particulate solid separation section may include a gas outlet port, a riser port, and a particulate solid outlet port. The particulate solid separation section may house a gas/solids separation device and a solid particulate collection area. The riser port may be positioned on a sidewall of the outer shell such that it is not located on a central vertical axis of the particulate solid separation section. The particulate solid may be separated from an olefin-containing product stream in the gas/solids separation device.
