    Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate transmission and reception of group common PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel) for NR (New Radio). One example embodiment employable by a UE (User Equipment) comprises processing circuitry configured to: process higher layer signaling that configures a set of combinations for slot formats for the UE; detect, via blind decoding on at least a portion of a control resource set, a DCI (Downlink Control Information) message that indicates a combination for slot formats of the set of combinations for slot formats via a SFI (slot format indicator); and determine a slot format for one or more slots based on the indicated combination for slot formats, wherein the slot format indicates, for each symbol of the one or more slots, whether that symbol is DL (Downlink), UL (Uplink), or a flexible symbol in the slot format.

    Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for use in a wireless network for time-domain resource allocation for configured grant transmissions in New Radio (NR) systems. For example, some embodiments are directed to an electronic device including radio front end circuitry and processor circuitry coupled to the radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry can be configured to generate a radio resource control (RRC) signal including a bitmap for configuring time-domain resources for configured grant (CG) operation. The processor circuitry can be further configured to transmit, using the radio front end circuitry, the RRC signal to a user equipment (UE) to configure the time-domain resources. The bitmap comprises a plurality of resource units and wherein each resource unit in the plurality of resource units corresponds to a symbol, a slot, a subframe, or a radio frame.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of increasing paging opportunities when the unlicensed band is used are described. The gNB sends an RRC message that indicates multiple monitoring occasions in a paging occasion of a paging frame. The UE monitors a monitoring occasion of a PO to determine whether a PDCCH with a P-RNTI has been received in an unlicensed band. If such a PDCCH is received, the UE decodes PDSCH information in the PDCCH to determine whether the P-RNTI is a P-RNTI of the UE. If so, the UE avoids monitoring subsequent monitoring occasions of the PO. If the PDCCH does not contain a P-RNTI, the UE continues to monitor other monitoring occasions within the PO.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for determining channel raster(s) and synchronization signal raster(s) for New Radio (NR) unlicensed spectrum are disclosed herein. For each of a plurality of data objects an NR channel raster position is determined using Absolute Radio Frequency Channel Number (NR-ARFCN) numbers. For each corresponding NR channel. Global Synchronization Channel Numbers (GSCNs), a number of Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) based on channel subcarrier spacing (SCS). NR channel raster position placement, channel edges, synchronization signal and physical broadcast channel (SSB) edges, and an SSB raster position are calculated. The plurality of data objects may then be down selected based on e.g., corresponding Long Term Evolution (LTE) channel raster positions and/or entries of a second plurality of data objects calculated for NR channels that use a second SCS.
