    摘要: A flanged coupling member is provided with a shaft portion to which a drive force is input, and a flange portion formed in one end of the shaft portion. The flanged coupling member is coupled to a front housing member with a bolt in which a shaft portion thereof is coaxially arranged in a front housing member and a flange portion contacts an outer surface in an axial direction of a bottom portion of the front housing member. The flange portion is provided with a tubular engagement portion that extends in an axial direction from an outer peripheral edge thereof. The engagement portion is arranged on an outer circumference of the front housing member on the basis of the fastening, and the engagement portion and the front housing member are engaged via a spline. The flanged coupling member is fastened to the front housing member at the shaft portion.

    摘要: A toner is provided with which the image formed by the use of an image-forming apparatus for electrophotography may keep a good and uniform image density for a long period of time from the initial stage of image formation. The toner contains a toner base particle containing at least a colorant and a binder resin, silica having an average particle size of 40 nm or larger and 200 nm or smaller, and an aluminum oxide-silicon dioxide mixed oxide having an average particle size of 5 nm or larger and 25 nm or smaller. The silica and the aluminum oxide-silicon dioxide mixed oxide are externally added to the toner base particle.

    摘要: A method of producing a porous material having open pores including stirring a mixture including (i) an epoxy compound having at least one epoxy ring in the compound, (ii) a hardener capable of reacting with the epoxy compount to harden the epoxy compound, (iii) a filler and (iv) water to form an emulsion slurry having a low viscosity and containing the soluble salts uniformly dispersed therein, casting the resulting emulsion slurry in a water impermeable mold and then hardening the slurry while maintaining the water content thereof, and wherein the soluble salts are added to the mixture. The method makes it possible to produce a large scale porous material having open pores and a complicated shape whose shrinkage factor during hardening and water and air permeabilities are controlled to desired levels respectively while scattering thereof is reduced.

    摘要: The detection system comprises a sensor and a controller which are connected by two wires. The sensor can take more than two states as opposed to conventional detection systems. According to this arrangement, for instance, a small leakage current exists even when the sensor is in normal off state, and, therefore, electric current in the range of I1 to I2 flows even in normal off state. On the other hand, electric current of I3 to I4 flows in normal on state. When there is a wire breakage, no electric current flows. Conversely, when there is a shortcircuiting, electric current exceeding I4 flows. Electric current in the range of I3 to I4 corresponds to an unstable state which is neither normal on state nor normal off state. Thus, by distinguishing the level of the electric current flowing through the wires, by using suitable electric current level detecting circuit, which of the level classes it belongs to, a state signal corresponding to the result of this distinguishing process can be outputted for self-diagnosing purpose.
