Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a transmitting user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a configuration including criterion for selecting a sensing mode for a sidelink resource selection procedure. The transmitting UE may select the sensing mode based on the configuration and a duplex mode configured for a sensing window and determine available resources based on the performing channel sensing according to the selected sensing mode. The transmitting UE may then select one or more of the available resource to transmit one or more sidelink message to a receiving UE.

Abstract: Aspects enable and provide techniques for sidelink communication resource configuration and management. A first user equipment (UE) negotiates with a second UE to select a first communication resource set (ComReSet) from a plurality of ComReSets for sidelink communication. Each of the plurality of ComReSets has a corresponding periodicity of one or more hyper-frames. The first UE communicates with the second UE using the first ComReSet using a frame timing synchronized with the corresponding periodicity of the first ComReSet.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device and a second device may communicate via a channel. The first device may generate and transmit a reference signal, which may be a distortion probing reference signal with a high peak to average power ratio. In one implementation, the first device may use the reference signal as an input for a neural network model to learn a nonlinear response of the second device transmission components. In another implementation, the second device may sample the generated reference signal, and use the samples as inputs for a neural network model to learn the nonlinear response. The first device and the second device may exchange signaling based on learning the nonlinear response, and each device may compensate for the nonlinear response when communicating via the channel.

A user equipment (UE) may determine the frequency band configuration for a full-duplex slot based on a frequency configuration indication, which may include an index for a table of frequency band configurations, one or more bitmaps, or respective start and length indications for each frequency band. A frequency band configuration may apply to one slot or to multiple slots.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for interference management with adaptive resource block (RB) allocation. In an exemplary method, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), an indication of a first set of resource blocks (RBs) to receive a first downlink (DL) transmission in a time interval, the UE receives, from the BS, an indication of a dynamically allocated second set of RBs to receive a second DL transmission from the BS in the time interval, and the UE alters one or more parameters of a receiver, based on the second set of RBs, when receiving the second DL transmission on the second set of RBs. Altering the one or more parameters may include switching a phase-locked loop (PLL) of the receiver to a center frequency determined based on the second set of RBs.

The data signal is transmitted after the control signal such that the data signal and control signal are separated by a time interval. A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more messages indicative of uplink semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) resources and downlink SPS resources allocated to the UE, the uplink SPS resources and the downlink SPS resources being within a frequency band used for full duplex communications by the UE. The UE may modify parameters associated with the full duplex communications on the uplink SPS resources, the downlink SPS resources, or both, based at least in part on instances of the uplink SPS resources at least partially overlapping in time with instances of the downlink SPS resources. The UE may apply the one or more parameters, after modification, to transmission of uplink communications over the instances of the uplink SPS resources, reception of downlink communications over the instances of the downlink SPS resources, or both.

Another method may include receiving a code block size indicator associated with a code block of a transport block, decoding the code block based at least in part on the code block size indicator and assembling the transport block based at least in part on the decoded code block. In some examples, the code block size indicator may be received using a control channel.
