    Abstract: Techniques for wireless communication are described. A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes identifying a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to transmit in an uplink pilot time slot (UpPTS) of a subframe, determining whether to transmit uplink control information (UCI) on the PUSCH in the UpPTS, and transmitting the PUSCH in the UpPTS based at least in part on the determining. A method for wireless communication at a network access device includes determining whether to schedule a transmission of UCI on a PUSCH in a UpPTS of a subframe, scheduling the PUSCH in the UpPTS based at least in part on the determining, and transmitting, to a UE, scheduling information for the PUSCH in the UpPTS.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to wireless communication, and more particularly, to methods and apparatus for semi-persistent scheduling for eIMTA in LTE. An exemplary method includes receiving signaling configuring the UE with a first subframe configuration; determining a reference subframe configuration for downlink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) operation; receiving a control channel in a first subframe activating semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) for at least one of uplink or downlink SPS transmissions; determining whether or not to transmit the at least one uplink or downlink SPS in one or more second subframes based on at least one of the activating control channel, the first subframe configuration, or the reference subframe configuration; transmitting the at least one uplink or downlink SPS in the one or more second subframes based at least in part on the activating control channel.
