Abstract: Aspects relate to sidelink channel tracking using quasi co-location (QCL) information for a sidelink channel between wireless communication devices (e.g., UEs). A transmitting UE may identify the QCL information for a sidelink transmission to a receiving UE over the sidelink channel and transmit an indication of the QCL information to the receiving UE. The indication of the QCL information may be representative of one or more large-scale channel properties (LSCPs) associated with the sidelink transmission. The receiving UE may then process the sidelink transmission based on the one or more LSCPs.

A user equipment (UE) may transmit a UE capability message, the UE capability message indicating a supported transmit antenna switching (TxAS) capability for each port of the UE. The UE may identify, based at least in part on the configuration message, a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration to use for transmitting SRSs in conjunction with the UL MIMO communications, the SRS configuration comprising a configuration for transmission by the UE of SRSs using at least one of the two or more ports of the UE, the SRSs transmitted on one or more antennas of the UE selected according to a TxAS configuration for the respective port.

Abstract: Techniques for reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-assisted calibration for timing errors in wireless nodes may comprise obtaining a set of wireless reference signal measurements comprising: first, second, third, and fourth measurements of reference signals traveling between the mobile device, a first wireless node, and a second wireless node, wherein a portion of the reference signals are reflected by the RIS while traveling between the mobile device and the first or second wireless node. A differential value comprising a difference between the third measurement and the fourth measurement is also obtained. Determining a position estimate of the mobile device may then be performed, based at least in part on the set of wireless reference signal measurements, the differential value, and a respective location of each of the first wireless node, the second wireless node, and the RIS.
