Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may receive an indication of a set of random access occasions associated with a random access procedure. The UE may transmit a set of uplink random access channel messages over the set of random access occasions corresponding to the set of uplink random access channel messages. The UE may select a radio network temporary identifier for the UE based on a defined position within the set of random access occasions and receive a downlink random access channel message using the radio network temporary identifier based on the defined position within the set of random access occasions.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for PUCCH/PUSCH DMRS bundling. A UE may transmit, to a network entity, a first indication of a maximum DMRS bundling duration for maintaining transmit phase coherence for transmitted DMRS. The UE may receive, from the network entity based on the first indication of the maximum DMRS bundling duration, a second indication of at least one of a DMRS bundling activation or a DMRS bundling duration. Based on the at least one of the DMRS bundling activation or the DMRS bundling duration, the UE may transmit at least one UL repetition including bundled DMRS.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a downlink message associated with a first random access channel (RACH) procedure between the network entity and the UE, the downlink message including an accessibility indicator of a first cell supported by the network entity, the accessibility indicator indicating whether the first cell is inactive at a future time period. The UE may perform one of the first RACH procedure for the first cell based at least in part on the accessibility indicator indicating that the first cell supported by the network entity is active at the future time period or a second RACH procedure for a second cell based at least in part on the accessibility indicator indicating that the first cell supported by the network entity is inactive at the future time period.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication and positioning. In an aspect, a base station (BS) may determine a slot configuration that defines at least a portion of one or more slots configured for RF sensing. The BS may send the slot configuration to at least one other telecommunications device, e.g., to another BS if the RF sensing is bistatic radar. The BS may then perform RF sensing according to the slot configuration. In another aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive a slot configuration that defines at least a portion of one or more slots configured for RF sensing. The UE may operate according to the slot configuration, e.g., the UE may go to low power or sleep mode while the base station is performing RF sensing, and may optionally wake up to receive downlink signals or to transmit uplink signals.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for channel state information (CSI) report structure for dynamic antenna port adaptation. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) and a network entity may support a CSI report configuration according to which the UE may include a respective set of CSI parameters for each of multiple codebooks. For example, the UE may compute a respective set of CSI parameters for each of multiple codebooks in accordance with a CSI report configuration and may transmit a CSI report including the respective sets of CSI parameters for each of the multiple codebooks. The network entity may use the respective sets of CSI parameters for each of the multiple codebooks to inform a dynamic antenna panel configuration update at the network entity.

Abstract: A network node may transmit an SSB indicating that the network may support physical layer security, and a UE may extract the secret key for the physical layer security based on the received SSB indicating that the network may support the physical layer security. The network node may indicate a level of the physical layer security using the SSB, and the UE may determine the level of the physical layer security based on the received SSB. In one aspect, the indication that the network may support the physical layer security may be included in the SSB. In another aspect, a synchronization raster of the SSB may indicate that the network supports the physical layer security.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A network entity may identify at a first cell of the network entity, an energy savings configuration for a set of cells associated with the network entity. The energy savings configuration may include a respective discontinuous transmission (DTX) activation state for one or more cells of the set of cells, a discontinuous reception (DRX) activation state for the one more cells of the set of cells, or both. The network entity may transmit, to a set of user equipments (UEs), control signaling that indicates an energy savings activation state for the one or more cells of the set of cells based on the energy savings configuration. The network entity may communicate, via the set of cells, with one or more UEs of the set of UEs in accordance with the energy savings activation state.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor a set of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions associated with downlink transmissions from a network entity, wherein a first subset of SPS occasions overlaps in a time domain with an active period of a discontinuous transmission (DTX) cycle of the network entity and a second subset of SPS occasions overlaps in the time domain with an inactive period of the DTX cycle. The UE may selectively perform or drop a feedback transmission associated with the monitoring based at least in part on the overlap between the second subset of SPS occasions and the inactive period of the DTX cycle.
