In one aspect, a base station transmits a combined block comprising a synchronization signal and information scheduling a SIB1 PDSCH. The base station transmits the SIB1 PDSCH based on the information.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reducing a size of semistatic codebooks for HARQ feedback. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining a number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for a time period, determining a maximum number (k) of simultaneous downlink transmissions the UE can receive during the time period, receiving one or more downlink transmissions during the time period from a base station, and determining a type of encoding for the HARQ feedback based on: (i) a number of the one or more downlink transmissions received, (ii) the number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for the time period, and/or (iii) the maximum number (k) of simultaneous downlink transmissions.

Abstract: Mechanisms for cross-carrier scheduling from a first cell to a second cell in a wireless networking scheme are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a first configuration for scheduling in a first cell having a first subcarrier spacing (SCS), wherein the first configuration is associated with a first search space in the first cell. The method further includes receiving, from the BS, a second configuration for scheduling in the first cell, wherein the second configuration is associated with a second search space in a second cell, and wherein the second cell is associated with a different second SCS. The method further includes determining a number of blind detections (BDs) based on at least one of the first SCS or the second SCS, and monitoring, based on the number of BDs, for downlink control information (DCI) in the first and second search spaces.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a plurality of downlink transmissions from a base station, and generates a plurality of acknowledgement data respectively for the plurality of downlink transmissions, each of the plurality of acknowledgement data indicating whether a respective downlink transmission of the plurality of downlink transmissions has been successfully decoded. The UE further transmits, to the base station, at least one status bit based on the plurality of acknowledgement data, the at least one status bit indicating whether all of the plurality of downlink transmissions have been successfully decoded.
