Abstract: A method for ensuring parallel data random access and a user equipment are provided. An embodiment of the present invention includes controlling a random access sequence transmitted by a user equipment through a physical random access channel (PRACH) not to be sent with other uplink transmission in the same subframe, or, when a random access sequence transmitted by a user equipment through a PRACH is sent with other uplink transmission in the same subframe, controlling a priority of power transmission of the PRACH and a priority of power transmission of an uplink channel over which the other uplink transmission is performed, when power is limited.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a cell discovery method and apparatus, where the method includes: determining, by a second network node, modified timing of the second network node according to acquired timing modification information; receiving, by the second network node, uplink resource information of user equipment sent by a first network node; performing, by the second network node, detection on an uplink signal of the user equipment by using the modified timing and according to the uplink resource information; and when detecting proximity of the user equipment, sending, by the second network node, proximity information to the first network node. The cell discovery method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present invention prevent from triggering UE to perform unnecessary cell measurement or handover, thereby reducing network signaling load and lowering power consumption of the UE.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a communication method, user equipment, and a base station. The method includes: obtaining, by user equipment, first indication information; when the user equipment is in a radio resource control connected mode, determining, by the user equipment based on the first indication information, to add a second cell as a serving cell; sending, by the user equipment to a second base station to which the second cell belongs, a first message used to request to add the second cell as a serving cell of the user equipment; receiving, by the user equipment, a second message used to indicate that the serving cell of the user equipment is successfully added; and communicating, by the user equipment, with a first base station and the second base station by using the first cell and the second cell.

Abstract: A communication method and a device for reducing data transmission interruption during handovers are provided. Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for transmitting and receiving a service between a terminal device and a base station. The terminal device receives radio resource configuration information and indication information from the base station. The radio resource configuration information includes frequency band information of N (N≥2) frequency ranges and characteristic information of radio interface technologies corresponding to each of the N frequency ranges. The indication information indicates a frequency range in which a physical layer resource is to be used by the terminal device to transmit and receive the service. Characteristics of the radio interface technologies include at least one of: a cyclic prefix (CP) length, a duration of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, or a subcarrier spacing.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and a communications system for switching a transmission time interval, user equipment, and an evolved NodeB (eNB). User equipment (UE) calculates a transmission time interval (TTI) switching characteristic parameter, and the UE sends a TTI switching request message if the TTI switching characteristic parameter meets a switching condition. The eNB sends, to the UE, a TTI switching indication message that includes indication information of a second TTI, and the UE performs transmission by using the second TTI. By using the method for switching a TTI, the UE and the eNB described in the embodiments of the present disclosure, a TTI used for transmission can be adjusted in time according to a channel quality change of the UE, thereby remarkably shortening a service delay.
