Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating phase jump estimation for SL DMRS bundling are disclosed herein. An example method includes receiving, from another device, first information at a first symbol of a first slot, the first slot including at least the first symbol and a first reference signal. The example method also includes receiving second information at a second symbol of a second slot, the second slot including at least the second symbol and a second reference signal, the first information and the second information being repetitions. The example method also includes generating a first reference signal copy based at least on the second reference signal and a phase jump between the first slot and the second slot. Additionally, the example method includes performing channel estimation across the first slot and the second slot based on an aggregation of the first reference signal and the first reference signal copy.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine an amount of time between uplink allocations that is needed for performing frequency retuning during operation at a subcarrier spacing (SCS). The UE may perform frequency retuning in association with hopping from a first set of frequency resources, associated with transmitting a first uplink transmission, to a second set of frequency resources, associated with transmitting a second uplink transmission, during operation at the SCS, wherein the frequency retuning is performed during a set of consecutive unallocated resources determined based at least in part on the amount of time between uplink allocations that is needed for performing frequency retuning. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set configuration information that indicates an aperiodic SRS resource set, an aperiodic downlink reference signal resource associated with the aperiodic SRS resource set, and a slot offset associated with the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource. The UE may receive downlink control information indicating that the aperiodic SRS resource set is triggered and determine a quasi co-location assumption for the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource based on the slot offset associated with the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource. The UE may measure the aperiodic downlink reference signal resource in a slot indicated by the slot offset based on the quasi co-location assumption.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some communications systems, interference may impede signaling between a base station and a target user equipment (UE) such that a base station may identify a donor UE to relay communications to the target UE. The donor UE may receive a coded data packet from the base station, and may identify a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) scrambling code for the packets addressed to the target UE. In cases where the donor UE identifies that the packet has an RNTI scrambling code associated with the target UE, the donor UE may forward the coded data packet to the target UE base on the RNTI scrambling code. Such early detection of data packets addressed to the target UE may allow for the UE to forward a data packet without fully decoding the packet.

Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) that does not support cross-slot scheduling (CSS) and a second UE that supports the CSS may share a paging occasion (PO), and a base station that supports CSS may configure a set of variable K0 greater than zero to the second UE. The base station may page both the first UE and the second UE in the shared PO by transmitting a first paging message for the first UE in the shared PO with K=0, and transmitting a second paging message for the second UE transmitted in the subsequent PO. The first UE may receive a paging scheduling physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) with K0=0 in the shared PO and monitor consecutive POs subsequent to the shared PO to receive the paging message. The base station may also assign separate sets of POs to the CSS-capable UE and the CSS-incapable UE.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are disclosed. The apparatus may be a UE. The apparatus may transmit, to a base station, an indication of a UE capability for PDCCH monitoring. The apparatus may configure, based on the UE capability for PDCCH monitoring, first MOs of a USS set to align with second MOs of a CSS set. The apparatus may monitor, based on the configuration, for a plurality of PDCCHs during PDCCH MOs. The PDCCH MOs may correspond to the first MOs or the second MOs. The first MOs of the USS set may be adjusted dynamically to be in same slots as the second MOs of the CSS set or to be within a predefined range of the second MOs of the CSS set.
