摘要: The invention relates to a method for packaging media and data for transmission over a broadband communications network link for display at a terminal destination. Features of the method included creating desired media segments for transmission to the terminal destination and for creating targeting information, for example in whole or in part in the form of metadata, for transmission to the terminal destination. Other features include packaging the created media segments and the created targeting information in a single package and unpacking the single package for display of the targeted media at the terminal destination. In another aspect, the invention can provide a method for unpacking media and data for display at a terminal destination implementing, at the terminal destination, receiving a single package containing media segments and instructions regarding handling of the media segments, quickly unpacking the media segments and the instructions from the single package and, based on the unpacked instructions, assembling one or more of the media segments for display at the terminal destination.

摘要: A method for encoding data streams into a combined file and decoding of same, including accessing a first file having a first plurality of data bytes, accessing a second file having a second plurality of data bytes, combining the first file and the second file, comprising the steps of storing a block of data bytes of a first byte block size in the body of the combined file as a first file byte block, storing a block of data bytes of a second byte block size in the body of the combined file as a second file byte block, repeating the first and second storing steps to sequentially store all of the data bytes in the first file and the second file in the combined file, and decoding the combined file to separate the bytes of the first file and the bytes of the second file from the combined file.

摘要: A transmitting method according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes: encoding a video signal and generating encoded data including a plurality of access units; storing the plurality of access units in a packet in a unit that defines one access unit as one unit or in a unit defined by dividing one access unit, and generating a packet group; transmitting the generated packet group as data; generating first information and second information, the first information indicating a presentation time of a first access unit that is presented first among the plurality of access units, and the second information being used to calculate a decoding time of the plurality of access units; and transmitting the first information and the second information as control information.

摘要: A transmitting method according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes transmitting video control information for reproduction of video data having an individually reproducible unit, transmitting the video data, determining a transmission order of audio control information for reproduction of audio data in a reproduction interval corresponding to a reproduction interval of the video data in such a way that the audio control information is transmitted after the video control information, and transmitting the audio control information according to the determined transmission order, and transmitting the audio data. Thus, in the receiving apparatus, a delay time from reception of data to reproduction of video and audio is shortened.

Each of the one or more frames contains a plurality of second transfer units, each of the plurality of second transfer units contains one or more first transfer units, each of the one or more first transfer units contains at least one of the IP packets, an object IP packet of the IP packets contains first reference clock information indicating time for reproduction of the content in data structure different from MMT packet data structure, the object IP packet being stored in a first transfer unit positioned at a head in the one or more frames, the one or more frames contains control information storing second reference clock information indicating time for reproduction of the content, and header compression processing on the object IP packet is omitted.

摘要: An image data of pictures constituting moving image data is encoded to generate an encoded video stream. In this case, the image data of the pictures constituting the moving image data is classified into a plurality of levels and encoded to generate a video stream having the image data of the pictures at the respective levels. Hierarchical composition is equalized between a low-level side and a high-level side, and corresponding pictures on the low-level side and the high-level side are combined into one set and are sequentially encoded. This allows a reception side to decode the encoded image data of the pictures on the low-level side and the high-level side with a smaller buffer size and a reduced decoding delay.

NFTs may be tracked in an off-blockchain registry and conventional blockchain may be used as a secondary register. The blockchain may be used for a universal access control list. The content may be tagged with an association between content and an idea. Content tagging may be independently searchable. Content interface may have segment-sensitive threading that updates as content progresses. An interface may present a textual or graphic representation of a user's impact on the community.

摘要: Techniques are described herein for optimizing the presentation of content through obtaining viewership metrics, generating multiple renditions of presentations of content, and selecting optimized renditions of content. One aspect includes associating a request for viewership metrics with a presentation of content, publishing the presentation of content, and receiving information of the viewership metrics associated with the presentation. Another aspect includes copying a presentation of a content item, creating a second presentation of the content item for publishing over one or more channels, and linking the presentation of the content item to the second presentation of the content item, such that a change to one propagates to the other of the presentation of the content item or the second presentation of the content item. In yet another aspect, a content rendition may be selected for presentation based on performance of the rendition out of multiple renditions in an auction.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems related to production of a movie, a TV show or a multimedia content are described. In one example aspect, a system for producing a movie includes a pre-production subsystem configured to receive information about a storyline, cameras, cast, and other assets for the movie from a user. The pre-production subsystem is configured to generate one or more machine-readable scripts corresponding to one or more scenes. The system includes a production subsystem configured to receive the scripts from the pre-production system to determine constraints among the scenes. The production subsystem is further configured to determine actions for the cameras and the cast for obtaining footages according to the storyline. The system includes a device management subsystem configured to control the cameras and the cast based on the determined actions by the production system and a post-production editing system configured to receive the footages from the production subsystem for performing video and audio editing.
