摘要: A filtration assembly includes a housing. The housing includes a first housing for fluid and a second housing opening for fluid. A containment cover is removably coupled to the housing. The containment cover defines a cover opening, a cover surface, and a flow passage. The cover opening is in fluid communication with the housing. The cover surface is substantially continuous around a circumference of the containment cover. The cover surface includes an open portion in fluid communication with the second housing opening. The flow passage is formed by a first passage surface and a second passage surface. The flow passage includes a first end in fluid communication with the cover opening. A second end is in fluid communication with the second housing opening through the open portion of the cover surface. The flow passage extends radially outward from the cover opening.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for controlling a fuel system of a vehicle to diagnose whether a fuel filter is functioning as desired. In one example, a method may include, in response to a fuel rail pressure decreasing below a threshold pressure while an engine of the vehicle is running, diagnosing whether degradation of fuel injectors or a fuel pressure regulator of the vehicle has occurred while the engine is not running. Then, only if degradation of the fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator has not occurred, a fuel filter cleaning routine is performed.

摘要: There is provided a filter for filtering particles in a container of fluid. The filter comprises a flow director comprising a hub, a plurality of radial blades extending from the hub and a plurality of vanes concentric about the hub. The blades and the vanes intersect to form a grid which collectively define a plurality of openings, each opening extending between a first face and a second face, where a cross-sectional area of each opening decreases from the first face to the second face. The filter further includes a skirt coupled to the perimeter of the flow director for maintaining the flow director in spaced relation from a bottom of the container. The decrease in cross-sectional area of the openings in the grid helps to prevent particles from travelling from a position below the flow director to a position above the flow director.

摘要: A washing apparatus for a 3D-printed article is provided for the removal of support material from the article. The apparatus includes a glove isolation cabinet with a liquid-discharging nozzle to enable an operator to spray an article with a washing liquid, and a drain. A first filter arrangement receives liquid discharged from the cabinet. The washing liquid drains through the first filter arrangement under the influence of gravity but the first filter arrangement is located in a trough in which washing liquid that has passed through the first filter arrangement accumulates whereby, in use, one or more filters of the first filter arrangement are submerged to ensure filtered-out residue remains submerged in the washing liquid. A pump is provided to pump liquid that has passed through the first filter arrangement through a second filter arrangement adapted to filter out solid material equal to or greater than 5 μm in size.

The oil filter has a filter inlet (32, 32′, 132) for receiving oil to be cleaned, and a filter outlet (34, 34′ 134) for discharging oil from the oil filter. The oil filter is arranged in the oil pan such that, in use, the filter outlet discharges oil into the oil pan.

摘要: An air vent hole includes a substantially columnar hole main body portion, a first hole portion formed on the upper side of the hole main body portion, and a second hole portion formed on the lower side of the hole main body portion. Each of the first hole portion and the second hole portion partly has, in a cross section of the hole portion substantially orthogonal to a first direction that is a longitudinal direction of the hole main body portion, a cross-sectional area smaller than a cross-sectional area of a cross section of the hole main body portion substantially orthogonal to the first direction. A float inserted into the air vent hole is movable between a position where the float occludes the first hole portion and a position where the float occludes the second hole portion. The float occludes the first hole portion under the weight of the float. However, the float is pushed up by air. Furthermore, the float is formed of a material having a smaller specific gravity than a liquid to be filtered. Thus, the float is pushed up by the liquid to occlude the first hole portion.

摘要: A system for filtering and recirculating a wash fluid associated with a piece of equipment. An outlet line extends from a drain location of the piece of equipment for communicating the wash fluid from the equipment to a first stage particulate removal filter. A further conduit extends from an outlet of the first stage filter for communicating the wash fluid to a first tank. A second stage filter is in communication with a first outlet extending from the first tank for continuously redirecting a subset portion of the fluid through the second stage filter. A return conduit extends from an outlet side of the second stage filter which is communicated with a second outlet extending from the first tank at a rejoining location for redirecting a recombined fluid back to an intake line for redelivery to the piece of equipment.
