For setting the various positions which the locking pawl 19 is able to assume relative to the telescopic members 14, 15, a fixing device 31 is provided which takes account of the respective stop regions 24, 30 for the locking pawl 19 or which, for the purpose of allowing the entire relative movement between the maximum limits, may be disengaged from the locking stops 23. This measure, in addition to permitting standard adjustment within the limits of the usual floating movement, allows a limited floating movement. Furthermore, it achieves complete locking and fixing in this position.

    摘要: The invention comprises a method for operating a door hold-open device and a device for carrying out the method. A door hold-open device which unlatches a held door based upon the occurrence of an unlatch condition includes a door latching mechanism, a signal processing circuit having a power source. The method consists of the steps preventing the signal processing mechanism from consuming electrical current, upon occurrence of an unlatch condition, generating a unlatch condition signal and providing electrical current to the signal processing mechanism to power it, determining the continued existence of the unlatch condition signal with the signal processing mechanism and upon determination of the continued existence of the unlatch condition signal with the signal processing mechanism, transmitting an electrical unlatch signal to the door latching mechanism. A device capable of carrying out these steps includes door latching mechanism, a signal processing circuit such as a microprocessor having data input and output ports, a power source mechanism, the data output port being operatively connected to the door latching mechanism to enable unlatching of the door latching mechanism, a switch mechanism for selectively providing an electrical power supply to the signal processing circuit power source, and an unlatch condition signal mechanism connected to the signal processing mechanism data input port and to the switch mechanism, whereby upon generation of an unlatch condition signal, the switch mechanism provides power to the power source of the signal processing mechanism.

    摘要: A tilt-out roof for vehicles having a closure panel arranged in the area of an opening in the roof of the vehicle. A frame extends around the edge of the opening in the roof, and a telescopic jack, that is used for the lifting and lowering of the rear part of the cover, is connected to the frame, on the one hand, and to the closure panel, on the other hand. The telescopic jack has several threaded parts that engage with one another, one of which is connected with a turning handle. The turning handle has a rotary plate that establishes the connection with one threaded part and closes the telescopic jack toward the bottom, and a separate handle rim that is detachably connected with the rotary plate. The rotary plate acts to hold the threaded parts of the jack in a predetermined relationship with respect to one another when the handle rim is detached.

    摘要: A door holder which is mounted on the top portion of a door frame has a controlled shaft adapted to be integrally secured to an arm of a door closer on the door, replacing the usual simple pivot on the frame. A holder lever having a considerable length rotates with the shaft and may be engaged by detent cam surfaces on a pivoted latch lever for holding the door when an electromagnet applies pressure to the latch lever. The latch lever is somewhat longer than the holder lever, and a preferred angle of the detent cam surfaces is 3* relatively to the holder lever, enabling the electromagnet to act with moderate pressure to hold the door but yielding to permit manual closing of the door. Particularly, the detent surfaces of the latch lever have reversed shapes for holding the holder lever against movement in each direction, being effective to hold the door in two positions selectively when the holder shaft is connected to a type of door closer having an arm that reverses its motion during a single closing movement of the door.
