摘要： A door stay device for automatically locking a door in an open position includes a first component adapted to be attached to a stationary support, the first component including a plate having a curved cam edge with a radius matched to a swinging movement of the door between closed and open positions. The plate has a slot open at the cam edge at a location corresponding to the open position of the door. A second component is adapted to be secured at a lower or upper edge of a door, the second component having a locking member arranged to move into the slot when the locking member is aligned the said slot and the door is in the open position.

摘要： An anti-opening apparatus locks a tray so as to prevent the tray from opening when impact such as head impact is applied to a crash pad. In the tray anti-opening apparatus, the tray is mounted so as to be pulled into or out of a housing fixedly coupled to a crash pad. A rotary bar is hinged to the housing at an intermediate portion thereof, extends toward the tray on one side thereof, extends in a direction which crosses the extension direction of one side thereof on the other side thereof, and is rotated such that one side thereof approaches one surface of the tray when impact is applied to the crash pad. A pin is coupled on one side of the rotary bar, and a free end of the pin is inserted into an insertion hole formed in the tray when the rotary bar is rotated.

摘要： A door security device operative to secure the door in a fully closed and partially opened state is disclosed. A vertically oriented housing mounted close to the handle side on the inside surface of the door contains a coaxial brace bar, the bottom end of which extends out of the housing, but does not reach the floor. A second vertically oriented brace bar is slideably mounted onto horizontal rods, which are affixed proximate to the bottom of the vertical brace bar. To lock the door, the bottom end of the slideable brace bar is inserted into one of two different floor plugs, the first of which is positioned adjacent to the location of the closed door (bracing the door in a fully closed position) and the second of which is positioned slightly interior to the first (bracing the door in a manner that allows it to be partially opened). If no security is desired, the entire device may be lifted in the housing, rotated into planar contact with the door, and locked in an inactive position. The locking mechanism can also be used to lock the device in any of the active positions.

摘要： A check mechanism for a motor vehicle door includes a housing secured to either the vehicle frame or the door and a check arm secured to the other one of the vehicle frame and the door. The door check extends into the housing through an opening in the housing. A pair of opposed guides are located within the housing and engage opposite sides of the check arm. Each guide has a generally V-shaped portion, in cross-section, engaging the check arm to generally form a line contact between the guide and the check arm. Spring members such as elastomeric springs bias the guides toward each other and the check arm. The guides and the check arm are adapted to resist movement of the closure relative to the vehicle frame when the guide engages predetermined locations of the check arm. When the door is moved relative to the frame, the guides slide along the exterior surface of the check arm. Preferably, the check arm has a covering of plastic material and each guide has a contact portion comprising a low friction material such as polytetrafluoroethylene.

摘要： A locking device is provided for holding an aircraft door in an open position. The device includes a first member connected to the door which moves in correspondence with door opening and closing. A second member of the device is fixedly connected to aircraft structure that supports the door. A locking pin, connected to the first member, is engaged with a pin receiving opening in the second member when the door is fully open to hold the door in such position. The pin is movable axially by a manually operated lever to disengage the pin when it is desired to close the door.
