    摘要: A load control arrangement includes a communication channel configured to transmit information. A controller unit is coupled to the communication channel and configured to at least one of send and receive information via the communication channel. A load control device is coupled to the communication channel, comprising a disconnect switch configured to be coupled to a power line. The load control device is further configured to determine a power consumption of a load connected to the power line. The load control device provides measurement data representing the determined power consumption via the communication channel to the controller unit. The load control device drives the disconnect switch depending on drive information received via the communication channel or depending on the determined power consumption.

The system comprises a switching device electrically connected between an electrical power source and a load device for selectively delivering electrical power to the load device. A control system controls operation of the switching device. The control system comprises a programmed controller for commanding operation of the switching device in accordance with a scheduling routine stored in a memory. The scheduling routine enables control of the switching device based on sunrise and sunset time. The memory further comprises a database of a plurality of geographic locations and coordinate information for the plurality of geographic locations. The control system further comprises a setup routine comprising a user interface enabling a user to select one of the plurality of geographic locations and a manager routine automatically determining sunrise and sunset times using the coordinate information for the selected geographic location and providing the sunrise and sunset times to the scheduling routine.

    摘要: The method serves for calling a substation (USm) by a central station (Z) in a transmission system for the purposes of information transmission by way of a communication channel (m) called from a plurality of communication channels. The plurality of communication channels is subdivided into communication groups (GRI, GRII, GRIII) of the same property or the same parameter values. Within a selected communication group (GRII) a communication channel (m) is called, which is still communication-free. If all (n) communication channels of the communication group (GRII) are already busy, the central station (Z) goes into a waiting condition until at least one of the communication channels of the communication group (GRII) becomes communication-free. The method permits optimum, parallel and synchronous utilisation of all available communication means for a group of the substations so that the central station (Z) by way of communication channels of that group acquires simultaneously and in optimum fashion data, in particular measurement data of electricity meters, of all associated substations.
