Abstract: Systems and methods for image scoring are disclosed. For example, the method includes: receiving a plurality of images, each image of the plurality of images associated with a geographic metadata, the plurality of images associated with one or more geographic metadata; selecting a first set of images from the plurality of images, each image in the first set of images being associated with a first geographic metadata that is one of the one or more geographic metadata; obtaining one or more first labels indicating one or more object classes respectively for each image in the first set of images; and determining one or more first scores for the one or more object classes for the first geographic metadata based at least in part on the one or more first labels.

Abstract: Systems and processes are provided for interactive reassignment of character faces in an audio video program. An audio video input receives an audio video program. A user interface receives a request to substitute an original character face within the audio video program with an alternative character face. The system uses a buffer to delay the audio video program and generate a delayed audio video program. A processor detects the original character face in the audio video program and replaces the original character face in the delayed audio video program with the alternative character face to generate a modified and delayed audio video program. The modified delayed audio video program is sent to a display and loudspeaker.

Abstract: Certain embodiments involve using a machine-learning tool to generate metadata identifying segments and topics for text within a document. For instance, in some embodiments, a text processing system obtains input text and applies a segmentation-and-labeling model to the input text. The segmentation-and-labeling model is trained to generate a predicted segment for the input text using a segmentation network. The segmentation-and-labeling model is also trained to generate a topic for the predicted segment using a pooling network of the model to the predicted segment. The output of the model is usable for generating metadata identifying the predicted segment and the associated topic.
