    摘要: A needle is received in a nozzle body and is adapted to reciprocate relative to an injection hole to open and close the injection hole. A pressure chamber receives the fuel and exerts a pressure against the needle in an opening direction away from the injection hole upon increasing of the pressure of the fuel in the pressure chamber. A damper arrangement is actuated upon increasing of the pressure in the pressure chamber to alleviate a change in the pressure in the pressure chamber. A pressurizing piston reciprocates to increase and decrease the pressure of the fuel in the pressure chamber.

    摘要: A fuel injection system (10) with reduced pressure pulsations in the fuel discharge paths from the injectors is disclosed. A high-pressure fuel accumulated in a common rail is injected by a plurality of the injectors. Each injector includes a high-pressure chamber for accumulating the fuel, a back pressure chamber into which the high-pressure fuel is introduced from the high-pressure chamber and a nozzle body arranged in the high pressure chamber. Each injector closes the fuel injection port by pushing down the nozzle body under the pressure of the high-pressure fuel introduced into the back pressure chamber. The fuel injection port is opened, on the other hand, by discharging the high-pressure fuel from the back pressure chamber through the fuel discharge path of each injector. A variable-area orifice (6) is arranged in the discharge path (55) downstream of the confluence at which all the fuel discharge paths from the injectors are merged with each other. The higher the fuel pressure in the discharge paths, the larger the open area of the variable-area orifice. Thus, a pressure pulsation in the fuel discharge paths from the injectors is reduced.

    摘要: A high pressure fluid injection circuit wherein a fluid which may generate pressure waves when flowing therein and generate pressure peaks which may damage the high pressure fluid circuit. To reduce both these pressure waves and the pressure peaks, a pressure wave absorber (14) including a cylinder, a rod (22) and a plurality of plates (23) is connected to the circuit. The plates (23) are positioned and made in such a way to provide a narrow passageway inside the cylinder that changes a regular movement of the fluid to an irregular movement such that the pressure peaks are reduced by 50% of their initial value.

    摘要: A pulsation reducing system for a fuel line of an internal combustion engine, especially for an automotive engine equipped with an electronic fuel injection system is provided. The system includes a fuel delivery rail, a fuel tank, and a longitudinal main fuel pipe. A first flexible tube is arranged between the fuel delivery rail and the main fuel pipe. A second flexible tube is arranged between the main fuel pipe and the fuel tank. A small-ID tubular portion is arranged within the first tube or near the connecting portion of the first tube. The inside diameter of the small-ID tubular portion is smaller than that of the main fuel pipe. The length of the small-ID tubular portion is set between 10 to 50 times the inside diameter of the small-ID tubular portion itself. Thus, standing waves and resultant pressure pulsations caused by the fuel delivery rail are reduced by the small-ID tubular portion.

    摘要: A pulsation damper is disposed within a fluid volume defined by a fluid volume wall such that the pulsation damper is exposed to pressure pulsations within the fluid volume. The pulsation damper includes a pulsation damper first half having a first damper wall which is flexible in response to the pressure pulsations; a pulsation damper second half having a second damper wall which is flexible in response to the pressure pulsations; and a damping volume defined between the pulsation damper first half and the pulsation damper second half such that the damping volume is fluidly segregated from the fluid volume. One of the pulsation damper first half and the pulsation damper second half defines a spacing member which maintains separation between the fluid volume wall and one of the first damper wall and the second damper wall.
