    摘要: A cassette for use with an injector has a housing, and a cassette identification arrangement (cassette ID) defining a code containing information about the cassette that is detectable and decipherable by an injector. The cassette may further have an integrated cassette syringe movably disposed within the housing, for holding a drug, and a locking arrangement for interlocking the integrated cassette syringe with the housing. The cassette may further have an aperture in the housing, and a cassette cap for removing a needle shield of the integrated cassette syringe. The cassette may have an anti-bending structure to prevent bending or flexing of the cassette cap. The injector may have a processor for controlling operational parameters of the injector and a detector communicatively coupled with the processor for detecting and communicating the cassette ID to the microprocessor to decipher the code defined therein.

The dispensing needle includes a lower end being shrill, smooth and seamless and puncturing into the plug of the medication bottle. The dispensing needle includes a passageway therein, and includes an opening and a groove on the side wall of the dispensing needle. The dispensing needle can puncture into the plug of the medication bottle without creating any scraps stuck in the opening of the passageway or dropping into the medication bottle. The groove can release the air and pressure of the medication bottle when the pressure in the medication bottle increases during the injection of the medication solution. Accordingly, the smoothness of the dispensation of the medication solution is improved, and the contamination of the medication solution can be avoided.

    摘要: A pen needle assembly is provided herein for use with a medical injector containing an injector body and a reservoir sealed by a septum encased in the injector body. The pen needle assembly includes a hub and a needle fixed to the hub. The hub is formed to be telescopingly mounted onto a distal end of the injector body using a track that accommodates a guide key. When mounting the hub of the pen needle assembly onto the injector body, a first portion of the track is configured to receive the guide key and to guide the guide key in a straight line across sufficient distance to permit a proximal end of the needle to fully pierce through the septum, without rotation of the needle. A second portion of the track is configured to permit the pen needle assembly to be turned with the proximal end of the needle being located proximally of the septum.

    摘要: The invention provides an apparatus which includes a syringe cartridge (10) having its open lower portion closed by a plunger piston (14). The upper portion is closed by a syringe cartridge closure (15) having a leur tip cap (50). The tip cap (50) then penetrates the leur tip (34), or optionally the interior of the hollow needle (40) thus completely reclosing the cartridge and sealing the same for storage until intended for further use.
