摘要: Described herein are systems and methods for detecting a physiological response based on thermal measurements while accounting for effects of the environment. In one embodiment, a system includes an inward-facing head-mounted thermal camera (CAMin) that takes thermal measurements of a region of interest (THROI) on a user's face, and an outward-facing head-mounted thermal camera (CAMout) that takes thermal measurements of the environment (THENV). CAMin does not occlude the region of interest, and the system further includes a computer that detects the physiological response based on THROI and THENV. Optionally, the computer generates feature values based on sets of THROI and THENV, and utilizes a machine learning-based model to detect, based on the feature values, the physiological response.

摘要: An observation unit (OU) and auxiliary observation unit (AOU) sensor are calibrated in relation to an ambient environment. The OU sensor and the AOU sensor are calibrated in relation to an observational subject. Monitoring parameters are established for the calibrated sensors using a receiving unit (RU). Monitoring types are activated using the RU. Data is gathered from the OU sensor and the AOU sensor. A determination is made that the gathered data exceeds the established monitoring parameters. One or more alerts are generated based on the determination.

摘要: A system for detecting the dimensions and geometry of a native valve annulus for trans-catheter valve implantation includes a compliant balloon and a shaft within the balloon. One or more drive electrodes may be affixed to a surface of the balloon, and one or more sense electrodes may be affixed to the shaft. After insertion of the balloon into the native valve annulus, the drive electrodes may be energized with a predetermined voltage. Using a trained statistical model and the voltages measured at the sense electrodes, initial estimates of the cross-section of the valve annulus may be obtained. The initial estimates may then be provided to an optimization model of the valve annulus to obtain a highly accurate prediction of the cross-section of the valve annulus.

摘要: Presented is a system and method for monitoring activities of daily living, ADLs, of a person within an environment. The system comprises an ADL inference unit adapted to receive a sensor output signal representative of a detected value of a property of at least one of: the person; and the environment, and to generate an inferred ADL output signal representative of the inferred ADL of the person. A monitor unit is adapted to generate a monitor signal dependent on at least one of: the received sensor output signal; and the inferred ADL output signal.
