Voice message actions include sent, received, and listened. The system further includes a voice message analyzer for analyzing voice message records, and a voice message reporter for generating reports from an analysis by the analyzer. The voice message system provides tractable information for voice messages, allowing companies to enforce a voice message usage policy.

    Abstract: A method creates a virtual network dynamically, with automated configuration for the new virtual network to function. The virtual network creation is initiated by a network node sending a request for a virtual network to a network controller. The network controller services the request, creating the virtual network by automatically configuring at least one network switch in the physical network. The network controller automatically determines a configuration for the virtual network using virtual network information, and creates the virtual network by configuring network switches according to the configuration. The virtual network can be configured for particular applications. From a user's point of view, the user connects to a network node. The network node then initiates the creation of the virtual network transparently to the user. The resource-intensive manual configurations of the conventional approach in creating new virtual networks are thus avoided.

    Abstract: In resource sharing by autonomous devices in an environment, first and second autonomous devices send first and second reservation requests, respectively, to a reservation controller for access to a resource in the environment required to perform first and second tasks. The first and second reservation requests include first and second requested utilizations, respectively, for usage of the resource. The first autonomous device receives a first permit with a first granted utilization, and the second autonomous device receives a second permit with a second granted utilization, for usage of the resource.     Abstract: A document controller receives from an access device a web-based document storage request to store an electronic document. The document controller retrieves a storage location attribute associated with the electronic document which includes a location at which the document controller is to reside for the electronic document to be stored. The document controller processes the storage request by comparing its current location with the storage location attribute. In response to a match between the current location and the storage location attribute, the document controller stores the electronic document. In response to no match, the document controller does not store the electronic document. The document controller stores a result of the processing of the storage request in the request record datastore. The document controller receives a report request for results stored in the request record datastore, and in response, generates a report to include the stored result.
