Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a nozzle for a combustor in, for example, a hydrogen producing plant. A mold is prepared from a material forming a nozzle body, and an alloy forming a covering layer is cast into the mold. The resulting combination of the material and the alloy is machined into a predetermined nozzle shape in which the covering layer covers the nose of the nozzle body.
Abstract:
An operation supervisory apparatus of a canned motor comprising a first detection device for detecting mechanically abnormal operation and electrically abnormal operation of a canned motor a second detection device for detecting the rotating direction of the canned motor, a combining circuit combining an output signal from the first detection and second detection devices and taking out the greater output signal of the two, and an indicator displaying an output signal from the combining circuit. The output signal of the second detection device at the time of reverse rotation of the canned motor being set to a value greater than the output signal thereof at the time of normal rotation and than the output signal of the first detection device within the range of normal operation of the canned motor. The first detection device is constructed by disposing even-numbered detection coils in a stator core of a radial air gap type canned motor to space each other by a polar pitch or integer times the polar pitch and electrically connected in series with each other so that their fundamental wave components offset each other.
Abstract:
An antiviral agent that contains as an active ingredient a particle of at least one kind of iodide composed of iodine and an element shown in Period 4 to Period 6 and Group 8 to Group 15 of a periodic table or at least one kind of monovalent copper compound. The antiviral agent can be incorporated into a variety of products. The antiviral agent can inactivate a wide range of viruses. The antiviral agent can be designed at a higher degree of freedom in terms of its constituents as compared to conventional antiviral agents. In addition, the antiviral agent can readily exhibit and maintain its antiviral activity because it does not require any pretreatments or special washing processes.
Abstract:
A powder inhaler includes: a housing having a port; a storage member located in the housing for storing a powder medicament; and a medicament-delivery member provided in the housing. The medicament-delivery member includes at least one concave portion for receiving medicament, and is capable of taking, relative to the storage member, a receiving position wherein the concave portion receives a predetermined amount of powder medicament from the storage member, and an inhalation position wherein the powder medicament can be inhaled through the admission port; and a stirring member for stirring the powder medicament stored in the storage member. An operation button is provided in the housing and is capable of moving between the initial position and a depressed position, while the operation button reciprocates between the initial position and the depressed position, the concave portion in the medicament-delivery member moves from the receiving position to the inhalation position and the stirring member operates.
Abstract:
A health management guideline advising device includes input means for inputting personal information of a measuring subject; measurement means for measuring weight and body impedance of the measuring subject; estimation means for estimating a body composition distribution of the measuring subject from the inputted personal information and the measurement result by the measurement means; storage means for storing the measurement result by the measurement means and an estimation result by the estimation means with a measurement date and time, prediction means for predicting future weight fluctuation from the stored weight and the body composition distribution; and display means for displaying the predicted future weight fluctuation. Furthermore, target setting means for setting a weight reduction target and determination means for determining whether or not the weight reduction target can be achieved based on the prediction result by the prediction means are preferably arranged.
Abstract:
A wireless transmission method includes: receiving a location specification message indicating a location of a source device (S702 and S703); and selecting a connection mode applied between first and second wireless transmission devices, on the basis of the location of the source device indicated by the location specification message, and establishing a connection according to the selected connection mode (S704 to S706). When the source device is located on a side of the second wireless transmission device (Yes in S704), a first wireless connection mode is selected in the selecting so that the video data is wirelessly transmitted in a direction from the second wireless transmission device to the first wireless transmission device (S706). When the source device is located on a side of the first wireless transmission device (No in S704), a second wireless connection mode is selected in the selecting so that the audio data is wirelessly transmitted in a direction from the first wireless transmission device to the second wireless transmission device (S705).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a disinfectant that contains olanexidine in a concentration sufficient to exhibit an effective bactericidal effect, and that has hardly any side effects such as skin irritation. Specifically, the present invention provides a disinfectant containing an aqueous solution that contains olanexidine and at least an equimolar amount of gluconic acid, and substantially contains neither an acid other than gluconic acid nor a salt of the acid other than gluconic acid.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing trichlorosilane in which hydrogen chloride and polymers including high-boiling chlorosilanes generated in a polycrystalline silicon manufacture process, a trichlorosilane manufacture process, or a conversion process are introduced into a decomposition furnace and are decomposition reacted at a high temperature, the method including: heating the decomposition furnace and a fin provided in the decomposition furnace; supplying the polymers and the hydrogen chloride to the decomposition furnace from an upper portion thereof so as to react the polymers and the hydrogen chloride by leading to an inner-bottom portion of the decomposition furnace while heating and stirring; and discharging a reacted gas from the inner-bottom portion upwardly above the decomposition furnace through a center of the decomposition furnace.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes an execution unit configured to execute a plurality of jobs based on a processing command included in a received communication response and a determination unit configured to determine whether to transmit an execution result of an execution unit in a synchronous manner or an asynchronous manner.
Abstract:
A pair of carriage rails are provided in parallel to each other in a casing. A carriage moves along the carriage rails. Both ends in a longitudinal direction of each of the carriage rails are fixed to the casing. A cross member functioning as a lens base is suspended between the carriage rails. Both ends of the cross member are fixed to a section between both the ends of the carriage rails. Intermediate sections in the longitudinal direction of the carriage rails are coupled to sidewalls of the casing via a coupling section.
