Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a method of a policy controlling device in a communication network, for supporting Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) specific 3GPP Data Off Exempt Services (DOES), the method comprises providing one or more uplink filters associated with a PLMN specific list of 3GPP DOES to a terminal device in the communication network. According to various aspects and embodiments of the method, per PLMN 3GPP DOES may be supported with a simplified scheme, and/or impact to existing network can be reduced.

Abstract: A method of operation of a SMF in a 5GC, for synchronizing the GBR QoS flows with the UE is provided. The method comprises initiating deactivation of one or more GBR/non-GBR (not associated to a default QoS Rule), QoS flows of a PDU session in the 5GC and in the UE and upon determining that a response to the deactivation is not received from the UE, deferring, by the SMF, the deactivation of the one or more GBR/non-GBR QoS flows with the UE and marking the GBR/Non-GBR QoS flows as to be synchronized when either UP reactivation is received or UE reachability notification is received or upon a synchronization timer set by the SMF has expired. The GBR/non-GBR QoS Flows may also be locally deactivated at the UE, in which case a method in the UE to synchronize the GBR/non-GBR QoS flows with the 5GC is provided.

Abstract: A method for registering a User Equipment, UE, with low access priority in an Internet Protocol based Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network said method comprising the steps of receiving, by a Proxy-Call Serving Control Function, P-CSCF node comprised by said IMS network, a Session Initiation Protocol, SIP, Register message for registering said UE in said IMS network, determining, by said P-CSCF node, that said SIP Register message comprises an indication that said UE is using a low access priority, wherein said low access priority indicates at least a reduced priority for said UE for accessing network resources, and establishing, by said P-CSCF node, said registration of said UE with said determined low access priority indication. Complementary methods and devices for performing a method according to the invention are also presented herein.
