摘要: An integrated circuit design method and an integrated circuit design apparatus, for increasing an efficiency of parallel processing of LSI design layout data while retaining a hierarchical structure by use of a computer capable of processing the data in parallel, take a first construction of making an internal cell composed of divided cells obtained by dividing a design cell specified by design cell data among pieces of integrated circuit design layout data on the basis of a cell division judging criterion, and of non-divided design cells other than the divided cells, then creating a plurality of unit groups of which data quantities are substantially equal to each other by combining the internal cells, and executing hierarchical parallel processing of the data contained in the internal cell per unit group, and take a second construction of restoring a non-overlapped array data region left by excluding a data region having overlapped data from an array data region containing array data among pieces of integrated circuit design layout data, with a combination of a plurality of or a single piece of array cell or unit cell.

摘要: In a swimming pool in which water is circulated by a pump, a schoolboy child is liable to be absorbed into a discharge port, which is dangerous. A sensor which has a load cell is provided at the back of a water-permeable cover in the discharge port. If a human body of the child is absorbed into the discharge port and contacted with the cover, the load cell is pressed by the water-permeable cover to transmit a signal to a control circuit in which it is determined whether or not pressure variation applied to the sensor is normal or abnormal. If abnormality is determined therein, an alarm is sounded to inform a watcher of the accident and the pump is stopped to release the child from the discharge port.

摘要: It is an object of the invention to improve reliability of wiring layers in a semiconductor device comprising an intermetal insulator layer composed of a polysilazane SOG layer. A method for fabricating semiconductor device comprises the steps of forming a wiring layer provided with a oxidization-resisting metallic layer covering its outer surface on an underlying insulator layer, which is formed on a semiconductor substrate, forming a side wall insulator layer with penetration-resisting property against oxidizing gas around a wiring layer and the oxidization-resisting metallic layer, applying spin-on glass (SOG)-producing materiel composed of silicon compound materiel, which comprises silazane bonding in its back bone, thereon, and sintering the SOG-producing material in oxidization gas atmosphere.

摘要: A rewritable thermosensitive recording medium having a recording layer, the transparency of which reversibly changes depending on the temperature thereof. Further, the recording layer contains a matrix material and an organic low-molecular-weight material dispersed in the matrix material as main components thereof. Moreover, an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid compound is added to the organic low-molecular-weight material dispersed in the matrix material. Furthermore, by adding the alicyclic dicarboxylic acid compound to the organic low-molecular-weight material, the eutectic point of the organic low-molecular-weight material and the alicyclic dicarboxylic acid compound becomes higher than the melting point of the organic low-molecular-weight material. Additionally, in spite of the fact that the amount of the alicyclic dicarboxylic acid compound to be added to the organic low-molecular-weight material is small, the difference between the eutectic point of the organic low-molecular-weight material and the alicyclic dicarboxylic acid compound and the melting point of the organic low-molecular-weight material is much larger than those obtained in cases of conventional recording materials. Consequently, the range of temperature, to which the recording layer should be heated for changing a state thereof from an opaque state to a transparent state, can be considerably enlarged without reducing the opacity of the recording layer.
