Abstract:
Various embodiments for performing motion detection for video processing are described. In one or more embodiments, motion detection may be performed by computing a temporal difference measurement, a local spatial complexity measurement, and a content dependent motion detection value based on the temporal difference measurement and the local spatial complexity measurement. In some implementations, the content dependent motion detection value may comprise a division of the temporal difference measurement by the local spatial complexity measurement. In other implementations, an approximated content dependent motion detection value may be computed without division to reduce computational complexity. The content dependent motion detection value may be used to perform various adaptive post-processing operations such as for de-interlacing, noise reduction, frame rate conversion, and so forth. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
A method for providing a video source list and a video apparatus are provided. The video apparatus comprises a combiner which combines an external input list with a video to be displayed, the external input list including information regarding external inputs of the video apparatus and a controller which generates the external input list, and controls the combiner, wherein the controller selectively changes a display order in which the information regarding external inputs is arranged in the external input list. Accordingly, it is possible to change the order in which the information regarding external inputs arranged on the external input list is displayed according to the desires of a user, and thus, the user can choose external inputs more rapidly and conveniently.
Abstract:
An on screen display apparatus and a method for displaying menus of the on screen display apparatus are provided. An on screen display apparatus includes a memory device for storing data and system programs for a first area, including first menu items; a screen device; an input device for generating a signal; and a control device for dividing the first area into a first sub-area and a second sub-area and for displaying the first sub-area more brightly than the second sub-area if one of the first menu items is located in the first sub-area. The method includes storing data and system programs for a first area, including first menu items; generating a signal; and dividing the first area into a first sub-area and a second sub-area and displaying the first sub-area more brightly than the second sub-area if one of the first menu items is located in the first sub-area.
Abstract:
A content supply system and a content supply method thereof, and a display device and a control method thereof which supplies content to the display apparatus, are disclosed. A content supply system, including a user terminal which is used to purchase content; a content supply server which stores therein purchase description information of the first content purchased through the user terminal, and supplies second content based on the purchase description information of the purchased first content; and a display device which transmits usage authorization information to the content supply server corresponding to the purchase description information of the purchased first content, and receives the second content from the content supply server. The present invention supplies content which is purchased by a user through a user terminal and enables a user to use the content without double payment for the content.
Abstract:
A method for providing a list of contents and a display apparatus applying the same are provided. The method displays images corresponding to a plurality of items included in a specific category of contents. If one of the displayed images is selected, a list of contents included in the item corresponding to the selected image is displayed. Accordingly, a user can easily identify what the item represents by viewing the image corresponding to the item.
Abstract:
A method for providing widgets and a TV using the same are disclosed. The method for providing widgets includes searching for widgets related to a certain keyword or a broadcast program among widgets provided by a plurality of content providers, and displaying the searched widgets on a widget search list classified according to content provider. A user can thereby search for and use the widgets provided from various content providers more easily.
Abstract:
A method of forming a semiconductor device can include determining a shot set including a plurality of shots, based on a final pattern used to form a mask. Shots included in the plurality shots can be classified as being in a first pass shot set or in a second pass shot set, where each can include a plurality of non-directly neighboring shots. A first pass exposure can be performed to radiate a reticle to provide the first pass shot set and a second pass exposure can be performed to radiate the reticle to provide the second pass shot set.

Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for mounting a pellicle includes a pellicle compression plate formed to apply a plurality of particular pressures to a plurality of points or areas of a region of the reticle where a pellicle frame of the pellicle contacts a reticle.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing semiconductor devices is disclosed. The method includes determining fractured shots that do not overlap each other based on a final pattern; determining overlapping shots that are shots that overlap each other based on the final pattern; generating area difference data by comparing the areas of the overlapping shots and the fractured shots with each other; calculating a radiation influenced pattern based on the area difference data; and correcting the overlapping shots based on the radiation influenced pattern.
