Abstract:
Provided is a method of performing a half-shutter function using optical object recognition, the method including: displaying a shutter button on a display panel by driving a portion of a plurality of light sources included in the display panel, the portion of the plurality of light sources being disposed corresponding to an object recognition window of the display panel; obtaining a first image based on reflected light received by an object recognition sensor through the object recognition window while driving the portion of the plurality of light sources; determining whether the first image includes a first object, the first object having a half-shutter state; and based on a determination that the first image includes the first object having the half-shutter state, performing a half-shutter process.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes an image sensor configured to capture a target to generate first image data, and a processor configured to perform directional interpolation on a first area of the first image data to generate first partial image data, perform upscale on a second area of the first image data to generate second partial image data, and combine the first partial image data and the second partial image data to generate second image data.
Abstract:
An image signal processor that generates a display signal receives an input image signal having a first pedestal level from an image sensor, generates a first signal from the input image signal, the first signal including a second pedestal level, the second pedestal level being different from the first pedestal level and being determined in accordance with the first pedestal level and a processing gain of the image signal processor, generates a second signal having the second pedestal level by amplifying the first signal in accordance with the processing gain, generates a third signal having the second pedestal level by removing a noise signal from the second signal; and generates a fourth signal by subtracting the second pedestal level from the third signal.
Abstract:
A system to recognize user activity includes a filter to form a gravity measurement from a three-dimensional (3D) accelerometer measurement of a user activity; a body component extractor to form a body measurement of the user activity by removing the gravity measurement from the 3D accelerometer measurement; a rotation matrix calculator to form a rotation matrix that is used to rotate the extracted gravity to align with a predetermined direction, and to rotate the 3D accelerometer measurements and the body measurement to be the input to features determiner module; and a features determiner to determine values of a predetermined number of features of the user activity based on the rotated 3D accelerometer measurement and the rotated body measurement in which the predetermined number of features are invariant under arbitrary rotation of the accelerometer measurement around the predetermined direction.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for reducing the power of a device in a wireless communication system supporting direct device to device (D2D) communication. A method, for transmitting a signal of a device in a wireless communication system supporting direct D2D communication according to the present invention, comprises the steps of: entering sleep mode in direct D2D communication between a device and an opponent device; if data to be transmitted to the opponent device is generated, transmitting a paging signal for the opponent device to a base station connected to the device, thereby requesting transmission of the paging signal to the opponent device; and resuming the D2D communication with the opponent device that has received the paging signal through the base station.
Abstract:
An interference signal control information acquisition method and apparatus for use in the wireless communication system is provided. The interference signal information detection method of a terminal for use in a wireless communication system includes acquiring a first control information part and a second control information part of other users from a received signal, generating a first control information candidate identical in bit length with the first control information part, blindly decoding first control information based on the first control information candidate, and detecting and removing interference signals of the other users from the received signal based on the blindly decoded first control information.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for concealing an error of an apparatus for receiving an audio frame in a communication system are provided. The includes determining whether the error occurs in a current audio frame that is received from a transmitter, determining whether the audio frame includes a signal that corresponds to a preset specific frequency when the error occurs, setting a gain of the signal that corresponds to the specific frequency to be lower than a preset limit value if the audio frame includes the signal, and concealing the error of the current audio frame based on a previous audio frame of the audio frame in which the error occurs and the gain of the signal that corresponds to the set specific frequency.
