Abstract: In a display panel including a main display area, a component area including a transmission area, and a peripheral area outside the main display area, the display panel includes: a substrate; an inorganic insulating layer over the substrate and including a first hole corresponding to the transmission area; a planarization layer over the inorganic insulating layer; a pixel definition layer over the planarization layer and having a thickness of 1.3 μm to 2 μm; and a thin film encapsulation layer over the pixel definition layer, wherein an angle between a side surface of the pixel definition layer and an upper surface of the planarization layer is 30 degrees to 40 degrees.

Abstract: A foldable glass substrate includes a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface. The side surface includes a first side surface extending at a first angle from the top surface, a second side surface extending at a second angle from the bottom surface, and a third side surface extending from each of the first side surface and the second side surface. A length of the third side surface in a direction substantially perpendicular to at least one of the top surface and the bottom surface is equal to or greater than about 0.3 times and equal to or less than about 0.7 times of a minimum distance between the top surface and the bottom surface. The minimum distance is equal to or greater than about 15 micrometers (μm) and equal to or less than about 100 μm.

Abstract: A flexible display device includes a protection member, a first adhesion member, a display member, a second adhesion member, and a window member. A thickness of the display member is less than a sum of thicknesses of the protection member and the window member. The display member includes a display panel layer, a touch sensing layer, and a reflection prevention layer integrated with each other to reduce a thickness of the flexible display device. The reduction in thickness enables the flexible display device to be bent with a relatively small radius of curvature, as well as to be repeatedly bent (or otherwise flexed) with reduced potential for delamination of the first and second adhesion members.
