Abstract: The present disclosure provides for adaptive resource management in new radio operations that adapts a numerology including a subcarrier spacing and/or cyclic prefix for a user equipment (UE) traveling at a high speed. A base station may transmit via a plurality of remote radio heads (RRH) to a user equipment (UE) is moving along a high speed track. The base station may transmit, in a first time period, using a first numerology including a first subcarrier spacing and a first cyclic prefix ratio, a first transmission for the UE. The base station may transmit, in a subsequent time period, using a second numerology including a second subcarrier spacing and a second cyclic prefix ratio, a second transmission for the UE. At least one of the second subcarrier spacing is different than the first subcarrier spacing or the second cyclic prefix ratio is different than the first cyclic prefix ratio.

Abstract: Radio frequency (RF) sensing of a target object by a wireless network is supported by a sensing node and a network node using sensing assistance data. The sensing assistance data may include information for Doppler estimation from received RF signals. The information for Doppler estimation, for example, may include an indication of phase coherency of RF signals, such as phase coherence found in positioning reference signal (PRS) resources, resource sets, transmission reception points (TRPs), frequency layer or any combination thereof. The sensing assistance data may include an association of PRS resources and reference point objects (RPOs) so RF signals reflected from the RPOs may be excluded from the sensing measurements. The sensing assistance data may include beam pattern information for PRS resources for beam coordination for RF sensing.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support configuration of aperiodic sounding reference signal transmission and triggering. A base station may transmit, within a first transmission time interval (TTI), a grant triggering a user equipment (UE) to transmit an aperiodic sounding reference signal (A-SRS), and may identify offset information indicating a TTI offset relative to the grant. The base station may determine a second TTI for the A-SRS based on the TTI offset. A UE may detect, within a first TTI, the grant triggering the UE to transmit the A-SRS, identify the offset information indicating the TTI offset relative to the grant, and determine the second TTI for transmitting the A-SRS based on the TTI offset. The UE may transmit the A-SRS in an SRS resource of the second TTI, and the base station may monitor the SRS resource of the second TTI for the A-SRS.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to signaling of direct current (DC) locations of user equipment devices (UEs) in a new radio (NR) network are provided. A wireless communication device receives, from a base station, at least one of a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration or a bandwidth part (BWP) configuration. The wireless communication device determines a direct current (DC) location based on at least one of the CA configuration or the BWP configuration. The wireless communication device transmits, to the base station, a report based on the determined DC location. The wireless communication device communicates, with the base station, a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) configured based on the report.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive a signaling communication that includes information specifying whether a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) precoding resource block group includes a same quantity of resource blocks (RBs) that is included in a CSI reporting subband configured for the UE. The CSI-RS precoding resource block group may enable the UE to perform a channel estimation based at least in part on a CSI-RS transmitted by a base station. The UE may perform the channel estimation based at least in part on the CSI-RS transmitted by the base station. The channel estimation may be based at least in part on whether the CSI-RS precoding resource block group includes the same quantity of RBs that is included in the CSI reporting subband configured for the UE. Abstract: A design is provided for spatially multiplexing uplink channels. A user equipment (UE) detects that a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) and a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) are to be transmitted simultaneously. The UE decides to spatially multiplex the PUCCH and the SRS for simultaneous transmission via different sets of one or more antennas. The UE determines time and frequency resources for the PUCCH and the SRS to avoid collision of at least a portion of the PUCCH with the SRS. The UE transmits the spatially multiplexed PUCCH and SRS using the determined time and frequency resources.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for slot aggregation in new radio (NR) systems. A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving radio resource control (RRC) signaling providing a semi-static configuration for transmission and/or reception of a repeated transport block (TB) and/or a different TB in each of a plurality of aggregated slots. The UE transmits or receives the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the semi-static configuration. Another method is provided in which the UE transmits and/or receives a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in each of a plurality of aggregated slots, each DMRS associated with a repeated TB or a different TB in the slot. The UE determines, based on received signaling, whether the DMRS use a same precoder or a different precoder and modulates and/or demodulates the TBs in the plurality of aggregated slots based on the determination.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques relate to improved methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses that support aperiodic and cross component carrier PRSs. Generally, the described techniques provide for receiving a dynamic trigger indicating that a UE is to monitor for one or more downlink positioning reference signals (PRSs). The UE may generate a timing measurement for the one or more downlink PRSs, and may transmit a measurement report that indicates the timing measurement to a transmission/reception point. A UE may also transmit a capability indicator, indicating that the UE is capable of maintaining phase coherence for a PRS that spans multiple component carriers, receive control signaling that indicates multiple component carries on which the PRS is phase coherent, generate a timing measurement for the PRS based on the control signaling, and transmit a measurement report that indicates the timing measurement to the transmission/reception point.
