    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for measurement without gaps for narrow bandwidth part (BWP) hopping. A user equipment (UE) may measure one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) while performing BWP hopping according to a hopping pattern. The UE may receive data and measure an SSB in a same frequency hop during a same measurement window without a gap. A base station (BS) may transmit a control message to the UE to configure an active BWP for the UE, a set of measurement windows, a hopping pattern, and a set of SSBs that occur within a set of frequency hops to support the measurement without gaps. The active BWP may be defined for measurement purposes to reduce ambiguity. The control message may support alignment of a measurement window with an active frequency hop to support measurement without gaps.

    Abstract: A configuration to reduce a timeline for non-codebook based uplink precoding procedures. The apparatus measures an NZP-CSI-RS over one or more beams from a base station. The apparatus determines a single beam for communication with the base station based on measurement of the NZP-CSI-RS. The apparatus transmits a PUSCH using the single beam and based on determining the single beam for communication with the base station. The apparatus may receive a configuration from the base station to perform a SRS-less non-codebook based uplink precoding procedure. The UE may transmit the PUSCH using the single beam and without transmitting an SRS further based on the configuration from the base station. The apparatus may skip transmission of an SRS between measurement of the NZP-CSI-RS and transmission of the PUSCH.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may receive an indication of a subcarrier spacing (SCS) for communications in a plurality of transmission time intervals (TTIs), where a TTI include a set of symbols, a corresponding set of cyclic prefixes, and a padding duration. The device may receive a control signal indicating a configuration for the padding duration, at least a portion of which may be reallocated as one or more additional symbols with corresponding one or more additional cyclic prefixes. In some examples, the one or more additional cyclic prefixes and at least a first portion of the set of cyclic prefixes may be reduced in duration in comparison with a remaining portion of the set of cyclic prefixes. The device may communicate during the padding duration using the one or more additional symbols and the corresponding one or more additional cyclic prefixes.
