    Abstract: Described are methods, systems, and devices for determining position using Differential Global Navigation Satellite (DGNSS) measurements. Techniques described herein involve taking carrier phase measurements at a reference station or other GNSS receiver at a known location, and combining the carrier phase measurements with pseudorange measurements taken at the reference station to resolve carrier phase ambiguity and to, in combination with pseudorange measurements taken at a mobile device, obtain a differentially corrected measurement that can be used to estimate a position of the mobile device. The differentially corrected measurement can be a double differential measurement based on signals from a pair of GNSS satellites.

    Abstract: Techniques described herein leverage multi-constellation, multi-frequency (MCMF) functionality to provide a local Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) solution for a mobile device in which an initial highly-accurate location determination for the mobile device can be leveraged to generate RTK correction information that can be used to make subsequent, highly-accurate location determinations without the need for measurement information from an RTK base station. This RTK correction information can be applied to Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) measurements taken by the mobile device over a long period of time while retaining the ability to produce highly-accurate location determinations for the mobile device. And additional correction information may be obtained and applied to the RTK correction information to extend this period of time even longer.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for wireless communications that support fast user equipment (UE) handover between base stations. A UE may receive, from a source base station, a configuration for reference signal transmission at a set of uplink transmit power levels. The UE may transmit multiple uplink reference signal repetitions based on the configuration. The source base station may transmit a request message to a target base station to measure the multiple uplink reference signal repetitions. The target base station may select an uplink reference signal and measure a transmit power correction. The target base station may transmit an indication to the source base station of the selection and transmit power correction. The source base station may evaluate the indications and select the target base station. The source base station may forward to the indicated contents, and the UE may switch and synchronize with the target base station.

    Abstract: The disclosure generally relates to various methods to increase network coverage with respect to Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) sessions and/or other voice-based multimedia services. In particular, when establishing a voice session, two or more terminals may perform a codec negotiation to exchange information related to supported multimedia codecs and/or codec modes, jitter buffer management (JBM), and packet loss concealment (PLC) capabilities. Based on the exchanged information, a message may be sent to a base station to indicate the maximum packet loss rate (PLR) for each terminal. Additional techniques may ensure that the terminals use the most robust codecs or codec modes that are available when nearing the edge of coverage to help avoid unnecessary and/or excessive handovers to different radio access technologies.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques and apparatus for efficient support of variable bit rate (VBR) voice traffic on LTE uplink. In an aspect, a base station may periodically schedule transmission resources for use by a user equipment (UE) for transmitting data on a logical channel, wherein the periodically scheduling grants the UE a fixed first transport block (TB) size of transmission resources at regular intervals, receive an indication from the UE of an amount of data for transmission on the logical channel, and adjust the fixed first TB size of the periodically scheduled transmission resources to a fixed second TB size based on the indicated amount of data. In another aspect, a base station may configure a UE to enable scheduling request masking (SR-masking) on a logical channel, and configure the UE with a threshold amount of data for the logical channel to dynamically disable SR-masking on the logical channel. In another aspect, a UE may receive a configuration to enable scheduling request (SR) masking (SR-masking) on a logical channel, receive a configuration of a threshold amount of data for the logical channel to dynamically disable SR-masking on the logical channel, and decide whether to transmit an SR based on the amount of data to transmit and the threshold amount.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatuses and computer-readable medium for wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first base station (BS) associated with a fifth generation New Radio (5G NR) radio access technology (RAT), a command of mobility from the 5G NR RAT to a second RAT.
