In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine two or more colliding uplink transmissions, wherein the two or more colliding uplink transmissions include first traffic and second traffic. The UE may select, from the two or more colliding uplink transmissions, one of the first traffic or the second traffic based at least in part on a first stage priority handling and a second stage priority handling, wherein the first traffic or the second traffic is selected based at least in part on one of three possible priority levels assigned to each of the two or more colliding uplink transmissions.
