    Abstract: Various solutions with respect to codebook-based uplink transmission in wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives a signal indicating codebook subset restriction (CBSR) from a network node of a wireless network. The UE selects one or more codewords or a codebook from a master codebook based on the CBSR. The master codebook includes codewords from multiple components. The UE then performs a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission to the network node using the one or more codewords or the codebook.

A user equipment (UE) receives a first signal from a network node of a wireless network, with the first signal selecting one or more codewords or a codebook from a plurality of different codebooks within a master codebook as allowed precoders at transmission ranks. The UE also receives a second signal from the network node, with the second signal selecting a precoder among the allowed precoders for uplink (UL) transmission. The UE then processes data using the selected precoder and performs an UL transmission of the processed data to the network node.

Frequency-dependent parameterization is supported to reduce signaling overhead in reporting beam selection and to enhance CSI resolution. Additionally, the number of candidates for beam selection depends on the strength of each beam to be selected such that more candidates are considered for a stronger beam than for a weaker beam. Moreover, amplitude quantization and/or phase quantization for beams of different strengths are different to reduce quantization error.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide a method of data transmission that includes determining a transmission time interval for transmission of a transport block and setting a segmentation threshold for the transport block to a first threshold or a second threshold that is less than the first threshold based on the determined transmission time interval. The method includes converting the transport block into one or more outgoing code blocks that each has a size not greater than the determined segmentation threshold and encoding the one or more outgoing code blocks for transmission when communication device is configured to transmit the transport block. The method also includes receiving one or more incoming code blocks that each has a size not greater than the determined segmentation threshold and reconstructing the transport block from the one or more incoming code blocks when communication device is configured to receive the transport block.

    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives, from a base station, a trigger for reporting M CSI reports. M is an integer greater than 0. The UE determines a wait time period from a reference point to a time point at which N CSI reports of the M CSI reports are to be transmitted. N is an integer greater than 0 and smaller than or equal to M. The UE determines N respective processing time periods for updating the N CSI reports. The UE determines a maximum processing time period that is the largest among the N respective processing time periods. The UE further determines whether to update the N CSI reports based on the maximum processing time period and the wait time period.

The UE determines a number S1 based on K1 and a number T1. The UE maps K1 modulated symbols of the M1 modulated symbols to occupy K1 REs of the T1 REs such that two adjacent REs among the K1 REs being separated by at least (S1−1) REs.

    Abstract: Various solutions with respect to uplink control information (UCI) feedback timing signaling in wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) identifies a type of uplink (UL) transmission to perform with respect to a network node of a wireless network. The UE receives a control signal from the network node and determines, based on the control signal, a timing offset of a transmission schedule for the identified type of the UL transmission. The UE performs the UL transmission to the network node according to the transmission schedule such that a first type of the UL transmission is performed with a first timing offset and a second type of the UL transmission is performed with a second timing offset different than the first timing offset.

    Abstract: Various solutions with respect to relative phase discontinuity (RPD) calibration in wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives a single trigger signal from a network node of a wireless network. The UE then transmits a plurality of reference signals in sequence to the network node responsive to receiving the single trigger signal. The network node can perform RPD calibration based on relative phase difference between adjacent reference signals in time domain of the plurality of reference signals received from the UE.
